		"Where is the town healer and this library located?" asks Mournath 


		[OOC] Mournath intends to speak to both the 
healer and the librarian that Tarek interacted 
with and find out why and how he was wounded and 
what he was researching, along with anything else 
they are willing to part with in the way of 
knowledge. Mournath has some coin left and will 
be happy to spend some of it to get his answers.
	   GM: Ack. Will discord DM you answers.

	   When the troll strikes a second time at 
Rocky, Varo draws her sword, ready to defend the 
dwarf or anyone else needing it. The troll's 
laugh & comment complimenting Rocky gave her a 
bit of a surprise and relief. She had learned 
something – she underestimated the troll simply 
because of his outward character, not for who he 
was capable of being. Her respect for trolls 
doubled in that few minutes. She grinned as the 
troll ambled off, and started looking around at 
the buildings nearby, looking for various types of shops.

	   When Tarek reminds everyone of his offer to 
pay for meals, she smiles. “Thank you, but I just 
ate. How about having a breakfast and a hot drink 
at sunrise, if the cook works that early? That would be well, uh, good.”

	   Tarek nods, “I'll ask inside join and we'll 
see if they are open that early.”

	   After getting Tarek's answer, she will go 
check her pack in the stable, then hit the 
supplies stores for any items to be added. She 
already had a room for the night, and looks 
forward to sleeping one more night in a real bed, 
before they take off with their camping gear the 
next day. She checks her pouches,  to be sure 
they are secure & brings in her supplies for the 
night, rather than leave them in the stable 
overnight. She plans to be up well before 
sunrise, to get her horse & supplies all ready 
for this new venture, hopefully leaving with a pleasant meal under her belt.

	   Juno heads back to his room at the inn to 
meditate and sleep and prepare for this next 
adventure. He knows that he can help this group 
succeed with the task ahead and has many tools to do so.

	   Before he heads up, he checks his horse and 
his equipment and make sure all his gear is ready for tomorrow.

	   He dreams of becoming a rune priest someday 
but for now he must gain more power and abilities 
and cult status to achieve this goal.

	   He kneels down and pray to his god , like he 
does every nite with the deepest conviction  and 
reverence. He does this to gain a blessing of 
power to help overcome the perils that each new day thrusts upon us all.

	   Rocky accepts Tarek's offer of paying for 
food and drink. "Aye, I will be happy ta hav food 
n drink. Thank ya." He goes back inside and uses 
a minor heal on himself after sitting down near his gear.

	   Tarek stops wondering if he should put a 
limit on drinks 10? 20?  Dwarves can drink a 
lot.  “As long as you are sober in morning enjoy!”

	   "Where is the town healer and this library 
located?" asks Mournath to the barkeep. After 
getting his answer, Mournath will watch the 
activity going on outside from a window. As the 
entertainment ends, Mournath hears that the party 
will not be leaving immediately. Good, he thinks 
to himself, there is time to do some snooping. As 
those that take Tarek's offer of food and ale 
enter the tavern, Mournath will nod at them and leave.

	   Barkeep gives directions to the healer who 
has a full store.  “As to library...well..town 
this size its just a book store that uses a small 
back room as a library of maybe a 8-10 dozen 
books.”  He then explains the location.

	   Razgor responds to the question how many will 
want food and drink "Eat he will eat, sure. 
Thanks.' and once back inside seems quite handy 
in getting served with some stew, bread and ale. 
For such a small and somewhat gaunt guy, he sure 
knows how to eat and drink a lot more than you would credit him for.

	   If the evening progresses and people start 
singing, he will merrily join in, although he 
doesn't intend to start himself. It looks like he 
knows the words and melody for a number of the 
local songs well enough. And as long as the bar 
is open, he seems to enjoy his ale. Not too much, 
but it looks like he will be completely sober in the morning at the east gate.

	   In fact it doesn’t take long before the 
dinner crowd shows up and songs and music is 
played.  A flute and mandolin at one point.  The 
Dwarf and at least half a dozen others also sing 
local songs, dwarf war heralds, cult battles and other folk music.

	   While Tarek and at least 2 of the party are 
no longer here the others stay hours and get to 
know each other.  The Tall man who sat behind 
Tarek has also stayed but remains quiet by the window watching the others.

	   Finally about the 9 th hour that night the 
bar keep calls for final drinks.  Kitchen will 
close and they will close up soon.  But not for a 
hour as they clean up and sweep.  So others still 
there may still play a card game or drink some more.

    	[Town of Demark]
       [Time: 7:08 am – using earth equivalent for ease]

	   The next day, Windsday, people being moving 
to the east gate.  For 90 minutes or so the town 
has been alive.  Farmers and townsfolk moving in 
and out of town before sunrise.  The tavern did 
reluctantly feed breakfast but cook was not happy 
about it but was given a bonus.

	   As folks get to the clogged throughway some 
notice Tarek packing a backpack on a horses 
mount.  The Tall man is there and helping tack 
the gear away. A new man is nearby waiting.

	   Tarek waits for the 5 to arrive then 
nods.  He is dressed in light walking gear.  In 
fact as Varo's horse gets near, this seems to 
bother Tarek. He begins to sniffle and move away 
as the horse makes low noises.  Clearly Tarek is 
not lying that animals aren't his friends or vice versa.

	   Some know this would go so much faster if he 
was riding.  But this is his gig and he pas for 
walking.  “This is a friend.”  He points at the 
tall man, “Jaren you may say is a personal body 
man.”  The others do not quite understand the 
words but it is clear he must mean a body guard?

	   Jaren then mounts his horse which Trek used 
to put gear on. Jaren seems to be wearing scale mail and a short sword.

	   “This man...” he points to a man wearing 
green tunic and brown pants.  Has a backpack on, 
brown leather cap, brown hair and clean shaven 
face, bow, quiver and a small sword on his 
hips.  “This is Marusk.  He knows the area and 
will be the guide.  He has been on local fishing 
boats as far as the north end of the ocean where 
our destination will be.”  He points to a very 
gray, black and white map that is very faded due 
to sun on a far wall.  The map is so old and 
distorted it is likely showing misguided info or at least exaggerated info.

	  Marusk doesn't seem to have a horse and picks 
up a backpack for himself. But its clear he has 
experience in the wild based on the ease he wears it.

	   “Shall we go?”  With that Tarek and Marusk 
head to the large iron gate and out onto the dirt 
path that leads to the forest to the north.


	GM: Actions? Comments?

	    Next Update...Next week...Tue/Wed?

	GM: A small update.  I need to figure out the 
first possible encounters.  I'm unsure how this 
will go if I'll do a update a day or just skip to 
the next encounter.  We will see.  I had hoped to 
do 2 updates but started this one late 
today.  Plus I spent most of week doing my D&D 
character for a 1 shot game.  I will report on 
who may have gained experience in tradetalk based 
on how much you spoke. Next update.

	   So yeah this dnd game.  Will be a 1 shot game 
and DM will be my first of his games.  But friend 
for a couple years.  While I've done DND since 
1983 I do not DM it I only play.  While my core 
local group does other games it has been 4-5 
years since played dnd.  So I'm rusty.  So you 
guys can see me fumble or hear me as I'll have no 
camera.  My picture will be as a troll (I'm a big twitch troll).

	   So this Saturday 8pm EST.  The email I sent 
out to clarify.  First URL is bootys stream which 
will be the game sat.  The 2nd Jmac is a friends 
stream in which I'm part of every few nights.  I 
had put it here cause every wednesday they do dnd 
as Jmac runs it.  But tonight it was 
canceled.  It would've shown booty as a player 
and you could've got a feeling of who he 
was.  But game fell through due to covid shot 
effects.  The 3rd url is Mournath's Berts who 
streams as a shameless plug.  Hes a good GM as well and does dnd often a week.
