Apris 30, after 9-ish

Raddok, after the wyrm appears to have left the ship, continues the inner hull checks the First Mate had assigned him. While completing the inspection, and applying any flags to whatever needs resurfacing soon below deck (although he might be assigned to complete the resealing, he's not the most experienced at it), he begins reviewing what's he's learned on this journey - the dagger skill, learning to swim, the language necklace, the gifted ring - and he appreciates the time the others take to improve each other's skills, even if some of the adventuring time (cleaning off dragon slime, for example) was an unpleasant chore, he chuckles to himself.

He begins to wonder - again - how the others' & his own Fomorian language skills are going to hold up in the days ahead. He decides that perhaps from now on, unless Dorhak or another ship's officer tells him not to, that he's would try to speak only in Fomorian; he wants to be comfortable as he can in the tongue, and he knows that at least some of the others despise the imperialistic islanders, and might not want to practice what they know. He had managed to get along with the islanders okay, but living 'humble pie' all the time was definitely wearing, and he only had to deal with them for a few weeks. He just hopes his knowledge of mining and teamster terms, as well as common daily-needs terms, would be useful to the group. But, for all he knew, some of his companions might know the language very well; he would, however, like some reassurance.

Thinking about it a wee bit longer, he decides not to come up behind someone & speak Fomorian to them - better cautious than sorry, he grins to himself.

He will continue to offer to do weapons practice with anyone looking for a sparring partner - mace, great sword or dagger, and shield.
