Kell's horse is the one hurt and in the hole.  Mine is fine.  Kiet's leg, however, looks like it's been vamped. Heehee

Kiet will watch Kell's horse closely and check it for any wounds (using his Husbandry skills).  He especially on the lookout for any damage to the legs doe to falling into the nest.

   [Arawn will cast Negate Poison at Max EL and will use Mana Sensing/Reading to help determine if the spell is succesful. He'll recast as needed until he succeeds.]


   "If you wish Z'leyra's potion as well go ahead. But let us know if you're dreams grow dark and troubled as the nights pass. For such things are often a sign that the poison lingers."

   When Kiet offers up the snake's flesh a meat he shook his head, a somewhat alarmed expression on his face.


   "No thank you! That thing corrupts souls. Who knows what could happen to those who ate it!"  [Scott, would Arawn know if the flesh is safe for others to eat? ]


   "But I'll take a fang, venom sack or skin if your willing and skilled enough to do so. They might prove useful amulets in the future."

While Kiet limps along with Kell, not so secretly hoping they would NOT find another &$!#* snake, he tells Kell, "I see our luck hasn't changed."

Kiet has taken a rather significant wound from the bite.  "I think I will have trouble getting back on my horse with this leg.  Would either of you, Z or Arawn, be able to help?

After the search, Kiet asks Z to bind up his wound as best she can.  Once done, he walks over to the snake, pulls out his Tulwar, and lops off its head.  The weapon, being a curved blade, is an excellent tool for such 'carving'.

He spits on the head and says to the group "Anybody here desperate for fresh meat?"  He points to the rest of the carcass. "Waste not want not."

He rubs his leg then mumbles "Damn!  That hurts."
