     [Recap]

        From Z'leyra: [Re: Actions]
Z'leyra triggers the Speed enchantment on her boots while drawing
her greatsword and charges to attack those fighting Sven. If it
doesn't delay her she will engage the enemy to put them between
her and Sven. She will allocate her EL towards defense as she is
down to about 3HP. The Clairvoyance from the sheath should also
assist her in the fight. If threatened by missiles she will
          trigger the Concealing Mist.
        GM: Ack.

                        ---------------------

        From Ben'dar: [Re: Actions]
Ben'Dar wishes the treasure to be divided equally, so if some
take powerful magic that is worth a lot, he expects they will get
a smaller share of the mundane treasure. He will leave the portal
to help load up treasure. He will help Kiet and the others to
direct the barbarian prisoners to help in loading / moving the
          loot.

He punches Chion in the shoulder, "Hey, wake up! Let's get out of
          here."
GM: Ack. You realize method 2 - you'd have no ranch by now. :)
Just a side comment. Since old method 1 was used. :)

                        ---------------------

        From Raban: [Re: Actions]
Raban finally makes up his mind, "Fremea, I am sorry but I feel
it is best I stay here to guard you. I do not know what is
occurring but something could show up here and cause grief for
everyone. We will just have to wait for news of what happened,
but be ready for whatever may come."

<needs more but could not think of what to say. Maybe a anime-
ish pose for the lovely lady... naw still not right>

Raban sighs, not so happy with what she says. "Fremea, if you are
really sure you are safe here, I will do as you request. I am
not so sure others do not know of this place as the followers
of the involved gods may have been told at need. I am fairly
sure the gods cannot directly cause us grief but they can send
their followers and some of those would be bad enough. Maybe
this place is protected enough and you are right, but I still
do not like leaving you here."

<if she indicates again that she wants him to go, he will at
          this point>
        GM: Ack.

                        ---------------------

        From Kiet: [Re: Actions]
Kiet agrees wholeheartedly with the barbarian...that's a pun,
          considering Kiet's wounds...
          [***Ben'dar's post deleted***]
        GM: Ack.

                        ---------------------

        From Fremea: [Re: Actions]
Fremea hovers near the Seker, awaiting the conversation to come
to an end and then the Glyph turns and speaks to her. She listens
intently and those in the room see her nod slightly, and say,
"Thank you Master Elemental, I shall do that to the best of my
ability." She then watches the Glyph leave.

"Raban, I do appreciate that you want to stay here, however with
your strength and great agility, you might be able to help load
things faster and that will protect me as well. Once we are done
here, I will get the kin released and this island will be no
more. I will be safe then. And as for getting the Seker out of
here, I can do that myself. Like you, I have other gifts that
many do not know about as of yet. I was trained to do much harm,
however I can see very clearly now that some of those pieces I
can use for great good too. However, if you do chose to stay, I
have no problem with that, though it may seem I am quiet as I
talk to the Seker. What would also be important to me, is that
Z knows our wishes on leaving the animal parts behind on the
island. I know that Arawn stated he would tell her, though I
just wish to make sure right now. I will be safe until your
return, as only people who have ever been here to the island
and probably have ever realy been in the graces of Akril, would
          know about this spot."

<seperate email will come for conversation with Seker>
GM: Ack. Saw the goodbye to the Glyph but didn't cover it below.

                        ---------------------

From Raban: [Re: Reply to Fremea]
Raban sighs and his eyes sparkle as he says, "Fremea, I know it
has been hard for you to accept my protections. I have never met
such women, who need my help so little but I am so drawn to
protect. But I follow my heart in such manners and it or my
goddess's influence says I am needed and that need is dire
indeed. Never has such taken me so far from home, to places I
had not even heard of. For that I am greatful, for experience is
the Soul of a Bard. How else would I be inspired by such Beauty,
such Courage in the face of so much adversity. None of us were
unhurt by this mission, some came very close to dying, but the
cause appears to be one quite noble. To rescue those long
unjustly imprisoned and to save the balance of the world! But
I fear we are not finished, there are forces at work that will
not take kindly to our interference in their games. If they can
manage to send others to stop us we can yet fail. We must be
prepared for that and right now you are the key to stopping us
and thus the one who must be protected above all others. I can
but pray I am up to the task as badly injured as I am."

          <A bit melodramatic isnt he>
        GM: Ack.

                        ---------------------

        From Chion: [Re: Actions]
Chion votes for method #2 since that is what the party has been
doing since Clima. A few exceptions have been made, but mostly
this is what we've been doing.

Chion remarks to Ben'Dar, "What, nobody wants to talk to the
water elementals where we are dumping this for an hour?" with a
smile/slight smirk on his face. He then gets his staff and will
get ready to teleport out with everyone. He'll teleport to where
          Sven was when ready.
        GM: Ack. Thanks.

                        ---------------------

        From Fremea: [Re: Actions]
Before she sits down to have a private conversation with the
Seker, "Raban, I am pleased that you want to make sure my safety
is taken care of. I can only ask for you to do things. I let you
decide at this point, Gods I did not think about, nor do I really
care about them, as they seem to play too much in our world
already. Do what you feel is the best at this time, I will be
          busy talking to the Seker."
          [*** Raban's duplicate post deleted ***]
        GM: Ack.

     [New Stuff]

        [Ma 2nd, 1633TH. 5th Day of Adventure #4.
[Location: Chaos domain, Dark Lands, ? Miles up, Flying Island]

        [Time: 12:40 pm]

[Inside the cave the humans are starting to get distracted and
worried about events outside. It is clear the discussion and
important things have ended here. The group starts to stroll
toward the portal to exit and help the others. Before the group
leaves the Seker broadcasts a message to all in the cave.]

Seker: "Thank you for your help. It will not be forgotten. I
apologize for any reading of private thoughts. Those secrets
will be kept to myself. This collar I wear amplifies my
mind powers ten fold. Surface thoughts are as common as hearing
is to you. Good luck to your futures."

[The first to leave is Ben'dar who notices Chion still standing,
as if guarding, near the portal. He smiles and punches Chion
         in the shoulder lightly.]

Ben'dar: "Hey, wake up! Let's get out of here."

[Chion smiles and replies quickly making his almost frozen stance
         finally into something more normal.]

Chion: "What, nobody wants to talk to the water Elementals where we
are dumping this for an hour?"

[Chion does a double take and seems to come out of his thoughts.
Day-dreaming of using this place as a power base is one thing
but missing the fun in the cave he doesn't know what Ben'dar
means by leaving. What has happened? He also wonders just
how much the High Elder knows of this place and if they were
just sent here as a casual errand. Chion shrugs and rejoins
the others in the Navigation room to form treasure parties.]

[Unali is next to leave and she sheathes her daggers. She also
would love to see this place used for good. A nation like Katai
or Marentia could hold entire armies here and invade a place
quickly with little resistance. Yet that shift of balance would
cause more harm than good. She gets the basics of what has just
happened but the supernatural stuff and the strategies of the
gods seem to be too much to think about. Life is hard enough
at the hilt end of a dagger much less to worry about troublesome
gods who play with humans like a game.]

[Raban begins to head around the corner to the portal when his
thoughts get to him. Fremea alone here might be unwise. What
if another death or monster came about? Maybe he should stay
and protect her. He stops with his mind made up. He turns to
raise his voice a bit toward Fremea in the distance.]

Raban: "Fremea, I am sorry but I feel it is best I stay here to
guard you. I do not know what is occurring but something could
show up here and cause grief for everyone. We will just have to
wait for news of what happened, but be ready for whatever may
          come."

[Raban places a left hand to his neck wound and finds a few drops
of blood. He'll have to get it rebandaged. He waits for Fremea
to reply. She turns around around and smiles. Her form is dim in
the green and red colors of the cave. An almost disturbing sight
of her and the Seker in the odd colors of the lichen. Almost
         unnatural looking.

Fremea: "Raban, I do appreciate that you want to stay here, however
with your strength and great agility, you might be able to help
load things faster and that will protect me as well. Once we are
done here, I will get the kin released and this island will be
no more. I will be safe then. And as for getting the Seker out
of here, I can do that myself.
What would also be important to me, is that
Z knows our wishes on leaving the animal parts behind on the
island. I know that Arawn stated he would tell her, though I just
wish to make sure right now. I will be safe until your return, as
only people who have ever been here to the island and probably
have ever really been in the graces of A'kril, would know about
          this spot."

[Raban nods and sighs, not so pleased with her words. Kin? That
giant thing is her kin? Let's see Arawn is kind to the other
Elf thing and she is kin to the Seker? He needs to take notes
on this confusing day. But Raban is perceptive to know she seems
to want to talk privately with the Seker to learn more or just
         get counsel on something.]

Raban: "Fremea, if you are really sure you are safe here, I will do
as you request. I am not so sure others do not know of this place
as the followers of the involved gods may have been told at need.
I am fairly sure the gods cannot directly cause us grief but they
can send their followers and some of those would be bad enough.
Maybe this place is protected enough and you are right, but I
still do not like leaving you here."

Fremea: "Raban, I am pleased that you want to make sure my safety is
taken care of. I can only ask for you to do things. I let you
decide at this point, Gods I did not think about, nor do I really

already. Do what you feel is the best at this time, I will be
          busy talking to the Seker."

[Raban visibly sighs and his eyes sparkle as he speaks. In
his mind he shivers at the thought of saying out loud a person
doesn't care about gods. If he said that about his goddess she
might get sorely upset. Assuming they are always listening.]

Raban: "Fremea, I know it has been hard for you to accept my
protections. I have never met such women, who need my help so
little but I am so drawn to protect. But I follow my heart in
such manners and it or my goddess's influence says I am needed
and that need is dire indeed. Never has such taken me so far

grateful, for experience is the Soul of a Bard. How else would
I be inspired by such Beauty, such Courage in the face of so

came very close to dying, but the cause appears to be one quite

all others. I can but pray I am up to the task as badly injured
          as I am."

[Raban shakes his head and after a few more seconds leaves with
a bit more grace this time through the portal. Now only Fremea
and the Seker are alone with the bodies of the tiny Imps.]

Seker: "He is very protective of you. You are bold to claim your
courage to the gods. When I came here that would be quite
deadly. Now...I have determined through Arawn's surface
thoughts the gods no longer are in this world. For that I
am quite happy they were...made to no longer interfere. But
Raban is correct in that there are still fanatics and Avatars
of gods who seek their favor willing to do what they call them
to do. One must be careful of such people."

[Fremea nods and blushes briefly but in the red light its difficult
to see any of it. It is hard for her to acquaint herself with
new friends and allies. It is a new experience even now and it
will take a long time to get used to it. Fremea glances to ensure
they are alone and begins a long private telepathic conversation.]

[In the next 15 minutes or so the party forms up and all are caught
up on past events. Caladan explains the attack on the woman.
Arawn explains the Romati. This immediately concerns Raban as
his own words come to haunt him. Could they send others after
her? But based on Arawn's explanation the Romati seem to be
avenging the Anwora and since Fremea isn't part of that she
should be safe. Arawn isn't clear how the Romati got her in
the first place but the Anwora forces in the Anwora realm must've
pulled major strings to get him here at this place and time. Kiet
explains about the floating slab and the others seem elated by
that news rather than hauling things down through teleport, flying
and such. It should speed things up and be less magic intensive.]

[For the remainder of the time groups of two, for safety, are formed
to search rooms and empty them. Ben'dar and Kiet get the Ipanza
to help out as the castle prisoners are still tied up. The
Romati didn't seem to care about them. The bodies and corpses are
left as is so the Glyph and other Elementals don't get upset.
Raban and Kiet's wounds are checked over again and minor redoing
of bandages are done. Soon the castle is full of party members
going back and forth carrying things. Raban and Ben'dar help
upstairs or in the basement to haul things with their strength.
Soon stacks of treasure and loot is placed on the east side of
the castle. By now the temperature is increasing and even the
grass is starting to dry. No one knows how long it will take
Z'leyra to get below and unload but if too long they can send
Fremea, Raban or Corona to check on her.]

        [Time: 12:55 pm]

                                -----------------------

        [Time: 12:55 pm]

[Two miles below the castle in the forest a fight starts.]

Sven: "I could use some help here!"

[Z'leyra scans for others in the forest but the woods are too
thick to tell. She wonders if she should leave the loot and
slab or use the slab. But the width of the forest in this
area is too thick to use it effectively. Scan can handle things
himself surely? He is a warrior-wizard. But what if he is hurt
and really needs help? Hesitation sets in as she herself is near
death and one good hit, heck one good tree limb on the head,
could kill her. She curses at the thought of leaving her helmet
back topside. But at least she has her staff, weapons and good
armor. She drops her staff and draws her greatsword. As she
does this she activates her magical enchanted boots. As she
draws the sword to her hands her ears ring briefly with the
activation of her Clairvoyance enchantment. She judges the
distance to be 50 feet toward Sven and the others. She charges.]

[With her speed enhanced boots she crosses the distance in two
seconds. She is almost a blur of speed unless used to the
sight. She comes to the side and in the rear of the 3rd fighter.
She thrusts her great sword and impales the fighter in the lower
right back taking the kidney in half, killing the fighter
         instantly.]

[The Second fighter (#2) twists and sees his comrade fall. Fearing
this new threat he swings his own sword at Z'leyra but misses
as her clairvoyance warns her to back just a half inch away.]

[Sven now using his bastard sword sees his chance and side swings
toward the second fighter. The blade is so fast and hard it slices
through the fighter's left arm severing it in half and plunges
deep into the left side of the man. The guard falls dead
         immediately.]

[The last fighter swings his sword at Sven and slices a thin cut
through his magical chainmail but drawing only a cut not a deep
         wound.]

[Z'leyra swings toward the last fighter but the blade is too slow
and he dodges just in time.]

[Sven thrusts toward the figther's chest and digs a deep wound but
         the guard remains standing.]

[The fighter now on the defensive brings up his blade to deflect
Z'leyra's own blade at the last second.]

[Sven swings at the guard but fails to land a hit.]

[The fighter wise to the double team decides its best to run. He
turns and runs toward the horses to grab one to flee. But as
he nears one to hop on the horse rears up and kicks him flat
in the chest. The man goes flying backward into a bush and
dies a few seconds later from broken ribs.]

[Z'leyra sighs and wonders if the chase with the horse might've
been fun. She suspects she might've outrun the horse! She
glances over and recognizes Tef'wo snort and land back on his
feet. She smiles and turns to Sven who is catching his breath.
She glances him over and finds only minor cuts and only one
minor wound that might have been a light sword tap. he should
live with no problem thanks to his own magical chainmail. She
glances around for the first time at the campsite.]

[Just three hours after teleporting up Sven seems to have setup
at least his own tent likely to avoid the long gone rain. But
around the forest in various directions are at least 8 bodies
all dressed the same. Swords, leathers, leather helmets, leather
belts and pants. Green, brown or tan tunics. After a few more
seconds she spots at least 3 others down behind trees and bushes.
She quickly calculates and figures Sven must've taken on at least
a dozen on his own. But some are, at least 3 it seems have
scorch marks on their chests. From the looks of it and what
Caladan has done they look like lightning strikes. Sven must've
         used magic on them.]

Sven: "Thanks..." [he gasps and draws in a big breath] "They
jumped me about five minutes ago. At times its been a
          running, standing, jumping fight. "

[Sven walks over to one body that seems to be still breathing
based on his chest. Suddenly Sven shoves his sword deep into
the man's chest killing him. Z'leyra almost leaps to stop him
as the Healer in her takes over. But Sven doesn't seem the
evil type and must have a reason.]

Sven: "They can't identify us. Come here..."

[Sven guides Z'leyra behind a tree and there lying on the ground
is a nude woman in a white damp robe. Part of the top is
open revealing her right chest. Z'leyra figures this must be
the visitor Chion sent down. But she sighs when she notices
her throat. It is ripped apart as if a knife was stuck in
and twisted. Scratch marks show on her neck and some of her
chest. Blood pools under her right shoulder. Clearly a wound
like that has to be fatal.]

Sven: "I tried to warn Chion before he went back up. I recognized
her. She is ..was the apprentice to the Domain Wizard here.
No I didn't kill her. About two hours ago I checked on her and
she was dead. But I've seen those wounds before. I suspect
the High Elder's pet familiar was here for some reason. That
usually only happens when the Elder is crossed, though rare.
But likely to retrieve what was on her. The Ring she wore
is no longer here. It must've taken it. It must've been
his property. That's not what worries me. The wizard here
must've sent these guys to check on her or to watch her
progress up thee. There could be more. We should leave
this domain as fast as we can. We are at least 12 miles to
the domain border. We only have about five hours of daylight
left. You should get up there and warn the others to move
fast. Speaking of moving fast you mind looking the area over?"

[Z'leyra nods and with greatsword in hand she zips around the
forest in a arc of a half mile. She is a blur as the spell
duration continues for a few more seconds. She finds no one
else hiding or ready to pounce. She sheathes her sword and
returns to notice Sven by the platform. Both her and Sven
begin to unload the stuff in a hurry. She does inform Sven
she saw a small uncovered wagon in the forest some distance
away. The party could use it to take the treasure back
with them. It must've been the apprentice's to take her own
         treasure from the castle.]

Sven: "You should return to the castle and we should move out
as soon as possible. If we leave now it'll still be dark
crossing the border. This is Itom's domain and her ally
is darkness. We should be safe crossing the border into the
balance domain. She'll have to stop any pursuit there. But
it'll still likely be dark crossing the border. So what
          has gone up there?"

[Z'leyra tries to sum up all the events she knows about in the
next few minutes giving as much details as she can. She
is concerned about not helping the wounded if Sven didn't
just kill them. But if a chaos wizard comes after their
weak party it could be bad. Time is critical it seems.]

Sven: "I missed a lot of the fun then. Oh well. I would say
use it to take us across the border but I hope you guys
have some plan to destroy it Ipanza warriors you say? I
can help them as they are my neighbors in my domain."

        [Time: 1:10 pm]

[Platform unloaded, Z'leyra sits back onto the slab and takes
off as Sven heads back to his tent to take it down. Z'leyra
gets a faster flight up to the castle not needed to worry about
         weight.]

[During the time the party continue as a full group now amass
the treasure and prisoners in one area. Now as a full group
it is far quicker. Unali feels the magic items should remain
with the group, never knowing when they might be needed later.
Unali eyes the magical spyglass that Caladan found and likes
it but lets Fremea have it. Unali has no problem with Arawn
taking the Elven plate. Its not every day a Elf can wear
normal armor so this is good for him. Plus who knows it
         could be cursed.]

               Raban................................................X.
               Caladan..............................................X.

               Other - Suggested method
No Vote - Defaults to this if no vote given
               N/A - Both, neutral, don't care
Method 1- Claims, rest go to party share divided equally
Method 2- Total treasure sum, claims paid for out of share
remainder, loss, profits out of long term shares

               All votes are in:
                 Method 1 - 2 votes
                 Method 2 - 3 votes
                 Other - 0 votes
                 No Vote - 2 votes
                 N/A - 2 votes

Here is the deal folks. Fremea/Kiet haven't technically
placed a vote. If no vote then that counts as Method 1
by default. So if anyone wants to change their vote
(including Fremea/Kiet hopefully) do so by Friday.
At this point if closed tonight it would be 4 votes
for method 1 and 3 for method 2. Five is a majority
but none is given here. So 4 beats 3. However if
Fremea/Kiet were to vote or others change their vote
then a majority could be found. Let me know by
Friday so I can work on treasure this weekend. Thanks.

GM: At this point the adventure is almost complete. All that
is left is move back to Balance domain for party and then
the destruction of the castle. In those details I need
             to know if:

             1) Chion will teleport folks from Castle to Balance Domain
camp from previous night? If not Fremea and others will
have to return manually (30 plus miles likely a day's
                trip through Chaos territory).

             2) Who will remain with Fremea. Fremea has to till the
bitter end. It looks like Raban may stay to collect
the collar but it can be retrieved by Fremea. If Chion
is to teleport then he has to. Arawn has hinted at
staying but need to know for sure.

             3) Barring luck there shouldn't be any new encounters unless
party stalls (like wants to explore forest or go searching
for neato plants or something) :). There still could be
a chance of a encounter on the retreat to the Balance
domain but I've not rolled those numbers yet. Barring no
encounter we could be over as soon as next week. I
was hoping to finish by a even date (like 2/1 but oh well
its a Sunday darnit and that stupid Superbowl thing.:))

GM: At this points its a matter of cleanup for loot and such.
The Elder will offer free magic item reveals to save mana.
This will help to rebuild up mana in the next days as
who knows when the next adventure will begin :) We'll
still have minor IBT time to deal with.

GM: As of this update the ftp site is down so can't update the
website. Stay tuned hopefully by Friday...
