     [New Stuff]

        [Ma 2nd, 1633TH. 5th Day of Adventure #4.
[Location: Chaos domain, Dark Lands, 9 Miles up, Flying Island]

        [Time: 10:20am]

[As smoke begins to clear literally, stone and soot settle and the
crackle of electricity ebbs, the room becomes strangely quiet.
Raban for the first time looks around. Just 30 odd seconds ago
this room was luxurious in style and decor. Now part of the north
wall is destroyed, the fire place is wrecked, stone from the statue
is all over the carpet, one part of the south wall is crisped from
lightning strike., Fire from A'kril and the Dark Elf has burnt some
of the floor where they fell. Dead guard corpses along with the
headless body Z'leyra killed with fire scatter the floor. Blood
and gore are all over the carpet making the color of the brown
carpet look like sludge from a sewer. In just 30 odd seconds the
party has turned this room into a war zone. Either that speaks to
the power of this group or something else. Raban cringes at the
sight and hopes his goddess sees this as self defense and not
outright murder. Arawn might see otherwise but that'll be a
discussion for later. Then Raban sees Arawn on the ground with a
wound and Kiet lying with blood gushing out his chest with Z'leyra
desperately trying to help. In all his haste he didn't hear anyone
ask for help other than Ben'dar. Adrenaline and battle-mind can do
that. Raban gives one final glance to the metal man and sees bits
of metal on the back of his neck slightly twisted. Given enough
time the metal might even melt from the fire but that's hours
away. It took two blunt force blows to take the metal man out.
Their weakness seems to be not able to take sustained trauma as
most humans do it seems. Raban turns to head toward Z'leyra to
help. As he moves he begins a prayer. It is not so much to the
gods as it is to the people in the room.]

Raban: "For your aid to these fair ladies, I pray to Miryan to aid
you in return, may you heal quickly of the wounds taken on their
          behalf."

[Raban looks at Kiet's chest and the blood is thick red a sign that
it is direct from the heart. Z'leyra glances up and for the first
time appears to show some sign of desperation. He wonders why she
is not healing him. He wonders if she has lost other friends or
even strangers before. Could this be her first possible death?]

[Z'leyra glances up as Raban comes and kneels down at the left
shoulder of Kiet. She notices Raban cringe as he sees the gore
from the headless man and then Kiet's wound. Both lock eyes
         briefly then Z'leyra speaks.]

Z'leyra: "Just as muscles get exhausted from lifting too much
weight so have I gotten my ability to cast spells exhausted for
the day. I should be fine tomorrow. To cast that fire dart I did
burn some of my spirit, but that should recover in a week or so.
We should bind our enemies and rest here till the morrow."

[As both apply pressure and check vitals Raban realizes that she is
out of magical energy. He finds that odd that with all her magical
toys she would be drained so fast. Raban realizes that no healer
skill will help, but only speed up death of Kiet. There is simply
no time. Raban begins to speak a healing spell for Kiet. Z'leyra
raises an eyebrow and recalls that Kiet was healed once today
during the earlier battles outside. Another one could kill him.
Her professional skill figures a 10=15% chance of death. She
begins to speak up but notices Kiet looking at her in desperation.
Something unsaid is conveyed and she figures Kiet is fighting for
his life. That is a good sign for a patient. Kiet looks to Raban
for hope and Z'leyra doesn't warn both of the death chance.]

[As Raban moves toward Z'leyra to help, Ben'dar also looks around
proud of the sight before him. He sees the battle as one won for
the party and so far no certain deaths. But then he realizes Chion
and Unali isn't here. Unali went in the hallway so is probably
still there. But Chion has been missing for a few minutes now.
The mess and gore doesn't seem to bother Ben'dar at all as he looks
around. He steps around the couch toward Z'leyra. He notices
Raban and Z'leyra seem to have things in hand, almost in effect
Kiet's heart in hand. He moves on knowing that he can't really
help there. He heads toward the last known position Chion was at
the foyer they came from. As he does he yells out to the foyer.]

Ben'dar: "Chion, are you out there?"

[At the same time Raban and Ben'dar move Fremea looks around but
doesn't seem to react much to the mess of the room. She notices
Raban get to Kiet and Z'leyra is there. She could go and help to
heal but it seems they both are going to do it and she might just
get in the way. She flies the few feet toward Arawn and lands to
check him. As she reaches down her hand is stopped by some energy
field. It seems Arawn has raised some shield up against the Dark
Elf. She glances around at the dead bodies and will never get how
things are done. Humans will always react like this and fight.
That's their nature and will always be that way. Yet it seems
A'kril tried to maybe stop things a few times. Her sense of dread
for Z'leyra and the Dark Lightning faded even before she killed
him. That would mean A'kril likely stopped the spell in an attempt
to seek peace. Why would bad guys do this? She shakes her head
at the confused state of human affairs. She glances down at Arawn
and smiles as she figures his own chest wound isn't as serious.
She senses some spell holding him in place and from the sign of him
not moving figures a paralysis spell. She wonders where Chion
has gone off. Her mental flags have gone up since he didn't
follow. Maybe he lured the party here to trap them for his own
evil purpose. Chion did befriend her but something just doesn't
fit right, after all this is Chion's homeland. She hates to feel
this suspicion of Chion but after all her treatment by humans
it has become too much of a habit.]

[Caladan looks around at the mess and the carnage. He is glad he
took the statue out before it could do more. He looks to the left
to see the metal man in the fireplace. He doubts fire, one shot
fire, could do much for it. Sustained fire maybe. Same for his
lightning strikes. No for the metal man cold might have done it
to make his metal brittle and then crackable by damage. Now that
the battle is over he finally notices Unali and Chion are missing.
He seems to recall Unali by the wall and the secret door so figures
she went after the guards there. But Chion, where is that sly
teleporter? The carnage doesn't seem to bother him much as he has
seen it all. He glances at the Dark Elf and realizes for the first
time his face. With a confused tilt of his head he wonders how a
human could have pointed ears like - like Arawn and Jordi? A
blackish Elf? No. Must be some freak of nature or Kotothi thing.
He heads toward the center of the room to help the others.]

[Ben'dar moves toward the south door where the party first came from
and the statue and others entered. From his angle he now sees
Unali to the right, his right, of the door. She seems to be looking
to the left (east) of the door at something and a look of shock
and then confidence rolls on her face. Ben'dar notices something
seems to startle her and knows not much can do that. Fearing
danger he raises his pike when she speaks a few words in Katai to
something in the east. The voice is a bit muffled since it is from
another room but those who know Katai can hear her.]

Unali: "Could you clean the mess in the main room in a few minutes,
please. First I would like a nice cup of tea. You may serve it
          on the glass table. Thanks."

[Ben'dar growls at not knowing the language and continues to move
swiftly toward the door. A second later she seems to shrug and
does a movement with her right hand as if to show a gesture of
"move away a bit please". After that she turns and twists and
enters the room. She glances at Ben'dar and nods then moves left
         toward the glass table.]

[Then Ben'dar is stopped dead in his tracks 3 feet from the door as
suddenly he realizes what she was talking to. Another Metal Man
overtakes the threshold and looks in with that face of emotionless
intent. Raban growls at the enemy - another one! He knows he can't
handle this and the only one that might is trying to save Kiet's
life! Maybe he can get to the door and shut it? Stall a few
         seconds?]

[Kiet suddenly sees black spots in front of his eyes and feels
dizzy from the loss of blood. He coughs and then jerks as
something happens. Z'leyra grabs his arm but it becomes limp and
falls a bit to the side. Then Kiet goes unconscious as the damage
takes him beyond the threshold of life and almost death. The Jade
did help to get him here but time is running out. His eyes close
and his mouth remains open. Z'leyra checks vitals and finds a
weak pulse and tries to push Raban mentally but he seems to be
doing a longer, hopefully more powerful spell taking time. She
doesn't want to interrupt his concentration so remains quiet but
slightly panicked. This feeling of being able to do nothing irks
her. She is a healer and this party's main healer and she can't
even help a new person to this group. To have one die on her
         watch is not right.]

[At the same time Caladan and Fremea stop in their actions and
frowns at the sight of the new enemy. Fremea fears for Arawn
and Kiet as they are in great danger from this new threat and
hopes Arawn's shield remains in place. She draws her dagger
and knows it'll be little use against this servant of evil.]

[At the instant she draws her dagger and stands up, Arawn can
finally move. The paralysis spell ends and he reaches for his
chest wound instinctively. A slashing cut with not gushing blood
is good. He applies pressure and notices Caladan and Fremea
staring at something. He hears Ben'dar growl and wonders what is
the matter now? He replays what Unali has said and frowns at the
thought she would want tea at this time! He twists and turns
around to look at where the others are staring and sees the metal
man in the doorway looking all tough and mean. He nods and figures
he'll be safe in this combat since his shield is still active.
Then he feels a tingle and at that thought the energy shield
drops and Arawn realizes he is now a nice stomping bag for the
metal man. He moans at the bad timing of this all.]

[Raban finishes his healing magical words just as Caladan breaks
the new silence with a yell.]

        Caladan: "Raban! New Metal Man!"

[Raban feels a bit of sweat from his forehead hit his nose as he
hears Caladan and glances to the fireplace. No he is still on
the ground. Raban then looks left toward what the others are
looking at and sees the new metal man in the door. He growls in
         anger.]

[Fremea puts her dagger in the belt and pulls her bow at seeing the
new metal man. Maybe some spell might take some wind out of this
new threat. But as she does Arawn raises a right, now bloody,
hand up in front of her. She wonders what Arawn is now up to,
more peace? She frowns and looks at Arawn's side of the face and
seems to notice he is oddly smiling at the metal man. She figures
Arawn will try to talk his way out of this as usual but how many
         will die before that happens?]

[Unali collects her bow and other items from the glass table.]

Unali: "There is a new butler it seems. He is making tea."

[The Metal Man glances around the room at the carnage and takes
in everything in a long emotionless stare. As he stares at the
debris and bodies he has hands on his hips. To the others this
is a strange gesture as the other one didn't do that. The metal
man looks at Kiet for a second longer and then glances back to
Arawn. As he does this one, unlike the other one, speaks which
         startles the others.]

Metal Man: "Well, you guys took care of this room. I took care of
the visitor. A fine looking lady she is. She is visiting Sven
now, unconscious. Oh, almost forgot. It seems like we are going
to have a long trek ahead of us. We should probably block a
portal or two and rest a bit."

[Z'leyra's attention now turns and sees the man in the doorway. She
glances back at the more critical thing and notices how tense
Raban is. Then she realizes he doesn't see through Chion's
         illusion.]

[The Metal man enters the room and steps toward Ben'dar who raises
his pike to deflect blows. As the Metal man does he enters the
ten foot area of Z'leyra's necklace and it ends Chion's illusion,
just as Ben'dar swings on Chion. Ben'dar realizes a half second
later this but Chion easily ducks and avoids the blow while
smiling. Ben'dar growls at Chion for almost forcing Ben'dar to
change his shorts from fright. Arawn nods at Chion and seems to
have been the only other one to see through the illusion. Then
Arawn realizes Unali was acting funny and figures she sensed
something or saw through it or just got lucky.]

[Raban looks down to see the green healing energy leave his hands
place over the chest wound and the other at Kiet's forehead. The
energy flows through the body and begins to do something. Z'leyra
then remembers she could've given Kiet her Luck item to help
with the spell. The energy sparkles on his chest wound and
the edges of the wound seem to twist. Deep down the energy
begins to seal the heart wound completely. The healing energy
works itself up into the ribs and heals that damage then
fades into a light green as it fades away. Raban and Z'leyra
inspect the wound and finds that now only remains a small hole
maybe a fingernail deep but coin sized. It seems the spell
worked great and healed a lot of the damage. Z'leyra checks
his vitals again but finds a weak pulse and sighs. What
is wrong did the shock to his system backfire?]

[Caldan stops when the illusion is ended by Z'leyra's necklace and
grins at Chion. Fremea also disarms but something in the back of
her mind still wonders why he went away. Then she takes in his
words and seems to have dealt with some person? then she puts it
together. The statue and others entered. It seems maybe they
ambushed Chion and he escaped with someone? When she checked the
foyer from the other room it was empty so he must've just came
back. If that is true he may not have left like a coward but to
         help the party.]

[Kiet begins to twitch and Z'leyra realizes he must be having some
heart issues. Something a healer in Ticasi describes as a attack
of the heart. She seems to recall him beating on chests like a
wild man and begins to fold hands over his chest and do chest
compressions. Raban jerks back as if the woman has gone insane.
He hasn't seen such technique and wonders why now she is hurting
Kiet. Z'leyra stops and then checks his pulse and sighs and then
grunts. The pulse begins to pick up and few seconds more it
becomes normal. She nods at Raban who looks a bit confused but
happy. A few seconds later Kiet opens his eyes and feels much
better. He notices Chion, Fremea, Unali, Arawn standing over him.
He smiles up and is glad to see Chion alive and seems to be well
though with a wicked smile on his face as if some joke was said
or played while he was out.]

[Z'leyra checks over Kiet and finds his status seems to have
increased 70-75% better. An impressive quick healing for Raban.
his status goes from critical to moderate almost light damage
         status.]

[The party separates and goes into duty mode of clean up and other
healing now that the critical needs are taken care of. Kiet is
bandaged up on his ribs and should do fine for now. Soon he is
let up and sits up. As he does this Raban helps and speaks to
         Z'leyra.]

Raban: "I know there are spells to transfer mana. If you have a
means to do so, I will donate whatever you need since I use mine
          rarely."

[Caladan turns to Chion and frowns.]

Caladan: "Where have you been? We were fighting in here for our
lives. We almost lost Kiet, Arawn and Z'leyra in desperate
battles and your off charming some female?"

Chion: "I am here, I don't think Sven is in bad shape. Their
visitor, a female mage failed miserably to cast some sort
of magic on me. I've seen this sort of failure before (looks
to certain people in the group, smiling). "She will most likely
be out of action and unquestionable for hours."

[There is some undertone of frustration to his voice and Chion can
understand it. Over the next few minutes he explains all what has
occurred to him in the last minute or so going into great detail as
if he learned from Strie'bog to tell stories. As he speaks he
moves about the room and looks at the various things. The
statue debris, the inert metal man, the dark elf in confusion and
the ashes of A'kril are examined closely by him.]

[As Chion speaks during one break Unali approaches Arawn and speaks
         to him.]

Unali: "Sorry about the delay Arawn, I was busy in the hallway a
bit longer than I had anticipated."

[Z'leyra packs her jade back into her satchel and leaves some of
her healing supplies out for later use. She stands and walks
toward A'kril with a mournful face. Sure this man tried to kill
the party but was he forced by self defense to invaders or out of
fear? Z'leyra carries many hats and knows that in war death is
certain as a warrior. But as a shaman and healer she is trained
to respect life. To some it is a confusing and conflicting thing.
She kneels down at the body, now ashes, of A'kril. She bows and
speaks softly as if in a whisper.]

Z'leyra: "I apologize. I am sorry. I did not realize that you had
dispelled the spell and I was intent on doing what I could before
I died. I wish you a good journey in the afterlife."

[Arawn walks over and also kneels at the ashes of A'kril in his
hand he has a small vase from the fireplace and a shovel for the
fireplace soot. He begins to respectfully put the ashes of the
dead mage into the vase. Z'leyra glances over and is unsure
why he is doing it. Arawn glances at Z'leyra and nods as if
he also didn't want A'kril to die. He begins to speak softly
a prayer for A'kril and for the other dead that didn't make it
to the end of the day. Arawn glances up as he works and sees
the Dark Elf's burnt body but no ashes. The fire didn't turn
him into ash just a crispy Elf.]

[Z'leyra glances at the items and during a part of Chion's speech
about what happened is asked for healing by Raban. But she refuses
and explains there is a danger to more healing than once a day.]

Raban: "I understand, there are risks with too much magical healing,
even I am not safe to do so. I do have magic to help you replenish
your spirit as well as more Angelica."

[Arawn glances up at the mention of Angelica and figures maybe
it is time for a potion. Raban spreads his arms and announces
         to all an offer.]

Raban: "I can heal all those that wish it, as there are none here
my Goddess would refuse. I have a limited supply of oils which I
can apply to increase the effectiveness of the magic as well,
though my training in their use was predominately for treatment
          of women."

[As Raban waits for takers he casts a healing spell onto himself
after Z'leyra helps to adjust wounds, clean and otherwise patch
him up. Raban's wound heal almost in half but Z'leyra figures his
status changes from heavy to moderate with about 20-25% improvement
         in status.]

[Kiet gets to his feet after some water and help. He can feel his
strength starting back up. He explores the room and then finds
the Dark Elf and the nice shiny armor he wears. It is clearly
not leather or chain links and finds it to be plate.]

Kiet: "Elven Plate Armour is exceptionally rare. In fact, I have
never heard of it being used except for Kings. Chainmail is
pretty common amongst them, but Plate? That item alone should
bring hundreds of Gold Coin's...maybe over 1000. Maybe Arawn
          should take it?"

[Chion finally finishes his story and the party try and figure out
what has truly gone on here today.]

Arawn: "This turn of events was unfortunate and saddens me, for
them and for us. I think A'kril may have been bound here as a
caretaker of sorts and he has finally been released. Unfortunately
those that he might have been guarding could be freed as well.

The dark elves are unknown to me, though I have ideas, but it is
clear that they hold a burning hatred of the Sidh for things in
the ancient past. I will have to commune on this and a few other
things before I care venture other ideas. From what the dark elf
told me, this was not their home, they come from over the seas.
They had their own agenda separate from A'kril, the details I
have yet to fully discover. Though these have moved on others
          might yet be lurking about."

Caladan: "Wait? Told you? When did you have time to talk to these
people? Did I miss something? You have seen these elves before?
I have never seen them in this...color...could they be a offshoot
of your race or some ...creation? Before you consider talking
to their spirits to find out you best be careful. This room
is clearly tuned as purified ground. This entire castle, heck
the flying island, could be a source for some magic protections.
Just like Z'leyra seemed to find out when she cast her spell.
It seems the room defended its master. Before we do such
things we still have a lot to do. We've only explored a small
part of this place and there could be many more minions here.
We should keep our strength, wits and magic at the ready."

[Fremea is happy to hear Chion's story and realizes he had to do
what he needed to do. She investigates the room and the area
around the fireplace. She finds the subtle button mechanism under
the carpet. She carefully activates it and the secret door on the
west wall closes. The other one still has the body in it. She
grunts at the clever but simple device. Humans can be just as
mischievous as Faerry it seems. She inspects the magical gem under
the mantle of the fire place that A'kril activated. She senses
magic from it and must assume it to be some sort of warning or
alert device. It may alert guards nearby. Then she realizes the
room she explored was likely a sentry room. Maybe at least 5-6
were in there. the others might've been nearby in other areas.]

[Arawn examines the Dark Elf, especially his face as if trying
to gleam some information from the dead Elf. Those who notice
seem to detect something more going on that Arawn isn't quite
         telling or understanding.]

Arawn: "While we rest and divy things, we should look to rest and
securing our location, if we stay here as well as alerting Sven
The corridors, where do they lead to?"

Caladan: "That is one thing we need to do. Explore. Some of us
like Kiet can stay while others like me explore."

[As the group settles down into a minor routine of pulling bodies
into one pile, disarming them, checking bodies for treasure and
resting or patching up wounds time moves on. The storm outside
seems to continue with more intense lightning and thunder.

[Fremea takes a keen interest in the bag of powder found on A'kril
which contains quite an amount and another Dark Elf has a small
bag of thin powder. She senses both are magical but doesn't know
their use at this point. With Z'leyra tapped out it might take
time to learn their purpose. Zhe places the small bags on the
glass table with other magical items.]

[Z'leyra recovers her staff from the north-east corner of the room
and helps to move bodies back and forth while checking wounds.]

[Much better now and grateful to be alive, but still sore and
bruised, Kiet inspects bodies as well. The bodyguard that Ben'dar
killed has chainmail in good shape. He takes claim of it and
figures Ben'dar has much better armor or he'd claim it. As the
group checks the dead they find only 1 guard still alive with
moderate but at this point non-fatal wounds. It seems the other
3 that were knocked out or turned asleep by sleep spell died from
their bleeding or other system shock. Kiet figures he can try
to question this guard later. He is secured with rope and placed
up against the couch still knocked out.]

[Both Z'leyra and Kiet take turns examining the ruby necklace.
Z'leyra quickly determines it is a small stone with some slight
flaws and average clarity. Nothing great for magic. Kiet not
being as skilled as Z'leyra figures almost the same information
         but underestimates its value.]

[Fremea comes to Arawn for some healer skill and not magical
healing. As Arawn and Fremea settle down Arawn tells Caladan he'll
join in exploration if needed. Arawn explains that his skill is
more for Elf and so it might not be as effective as it could be.
But Z'leyra likely wouldn't know Faerry anatomy too well either.
She accepts and takes the treatment.]

Fremea: "It seems there is so much I do not understand, nor that I
know about the world and you do. Yet, this place seems a huge
mystery to even you and why there are dark elves here. Though I
am saddened you did not get to do what you wanted here first,
before everything went to chaos, I am also glad to see that those
darker elves are no longer breathing. There is something about
them that just didn't feel right."

[Soon after Arawn approaches Raban and asks about that angelica
potion now. Raban quickly finds the skin of potion and pours
         a careful amount out.]

Raban: "I am sorry I could not hand you the skin earlier, but I
had to measure it carefully for each person. Angelica is quite
powerful and can kill if too much is taken. In all the excitement
it was forgotten again, fortunately it was not damaged in the
          fighting."

[Arawn takes the goblet and drinks. Immediately he senses and feels
the effects of regained life-force. It almost feels as half of
what he has lost is gained back but it is hard to tell. He can
also feel his magical defenses seem to climb. Arawn nods in
thanks and hands the goblet back.]

[Arawn takes the goblet and realizes Z'leyra mentioned lost
life-force. With skin and goblet in hand he approaches Z'leyra.]

Raban: "You refused to drink the Angelica earlier so others could
have it in your place. But the others did not drink either and
now you need it more than most. Drink, it can greatly replenish
your spirit... You nearly died due to your refusal before, a
sacrifice for others who did not even partake of it. Please do
          not take such risks again."

[Z'leyra almost blushes from red for a tenth of a second then does
from a bit of embarrassment and relief for half a second. No one,
even a man, talks to her like that. Then she realizes he is only
concerned for her and she almost finds the forceful nature of his
words and manner to be seductive a bit. She realizes this man is
a charmer indeed. Quite the ladies man. Somone she may have to
keep at bay to avoid his charms. Love and missions like this can
cause problems. She considers the case in point with Jordi and
Neva. Z'leyra nods and accepts a potion. Raban pours and
Z'leyra drinks it. She immediately feels life energy go back
into her body and feels better. Raban takes the goblet and shakes
the skin. He figures he has at least 1 maybe 2 more potions left
         of this batch.]

[Later Arawn tries to inspect the metal man to take samples but
finds it is too jagged and hard to cut. It may take hours to burn
and bend to take effective sample. However he does grab a chunk
of the statue's stone and finds no magic to it or the floating
disk. It seems to have gone when it was destroyed by Caladan.
That floating disk could be fun to have but there is no idea how
to control it and it may only be linked to the magical statue
creation itself not to flesh and blood.]

[Arawn takes some time looking up at the chandelier of candles. He
continues to sense nothing from them and yet two are not lit for
some reason. He asks Fremea if she senses anything but from her
first time in the room she shakes her head. Blocking magic is all
that Arawn can figure. Magic lost to the ancient wizards and
elves. He knows some can hide their presence through mana shields
or hide minds. So why can't there be magic to hide magic? Clever.
It makes sense though Arawn figures. A castle known to be a mage's
domain would take in visitors of the same ilk - other mages.
Those mages might attempt to kill or spy on said mage and thus
common defenses could be done. A simple balance of power situation
Arawn figures the whole castle could be lined with anti-sensing
magic of magical wards. Making the place quite dangerous. But it
would likely be the most vital areas not the kitchen and the like.
One common spell would be invisibility. Something an apprentice
would know by first day's school. When Z'leyra cast it she was
attacked by a magical dark lightning ward. Arawn surmises from
this one unlit candle here. Arawn never saw where the lightning
came from so up here it makes sense. The other unlit one is a
mystery. Maybe that was the dispel form of the ward or maybe
something else was cast. Arawn also figures like Caladan
mentioned this room, this place, is dotted with purified ground
making some magic dangerous. He then recalls failed spells like
Fremea and the mystery visitor Chion mentioned. Then it hits him
again. When the woman must've cast some spell the statue
activated. That's when it attacked and came alive. A defense
guard dog of its own kind in the foyer. Clever A'kril, clever.]

[Later Arawn spends few minutes inspecting the fine plate armor the
Dark Elf had on when he attacked Arawn. He is confused as to first
how this man got such an item and why it exists. Chainmail is
for royals or kings maybe even high status members of society
with good connections. But plate isn't just made in Elven
society. the alloys needed just takes too much to work it. But
these Elves seem to have created such. Could their separation
from normal Elf society have allowed them such? Not even his
parents would have such an armor. Then Arawn hesitates. Does
that mean his parents wouldn't want him to have this armor? Could
it taint their name or his culture? Is this some elaborate test
from his own parents to test his loyalty. He shivers at the
thought. But he knows maybe they sent this armor to him on purpose
to help save his future life? Maybe they wanted him to have it.
He figures it has to be tougher than his own armor but is unsure
by how much. He isn't sure of its pure elven alloy nature. This
comes to his mind when he examines the weapons and shields the
elves had - normal human metal. How can Elves have such things?
Maybe they aren't afflicted by iron? Who or what would have
cured them of such a thing? Is that a good or bad thing? This
is all too dizzying to figure out now. Arawn knows Z'leyra has
asked about the knowledge to Sidh alloys. But Arawn knows it
is a sacred thing and not to be shared. Even among friends.
If one human learned then others might. He'll have to explain
that to her sooner or later. His parents have sent avatars
after those who tried to steal or learn the secret.]

[Z'leyra among others examine the other armor and weapons. They
are all in good shape and normal manufacture for the style.
Nothing extraordinary about them. Aside from the Elven plate
it seems all are normal metals and human manufacture. Z'leyra
figures the value of the items to be normal but is confused why
Dark Elves can even use iron.]

[Unali has her eye on A'kril's sword and armor. When she and others
touch the armor they find it fascinating. At one moment its cold
like ice then warm like fire. The next its tough as stone and the
next its light as air. It makes the examiner very confused by the
nature. She knows the Elven plate is nothing she would want but
maybe Farseeker or Arawn. But she figures Arawn is more suited
         for such a item.]

[Weapons are collected, armor is stripped, bodies collected and
other treasure put on the glass table. The coins are examined and
they aren't recognized by anyone. Most seem quite old as if they
were left in some desert for years to the outside. It appears most
are gold or silver colored so the party figures if at all they
could be melted down and sold in some fashion.]

Caladan: "So let's play what we know. It is a game Woundenal taught
me early on. This flying castle thing comes into Ipanaza air
space then comes south through various domains to end up here.
It may or may not, as we've not confirmed it yet, ruled by mighty
ancient mages. We arrive and find A'kril here our host and the
supposed leader of this place waiting for someone but not us.
We learn from Chion there is some female nude visitor with a ring
or something dangling from her neck on a string. Likely a shape
change thing. Chion captures and sends her off to Sven. We kill
everyone but that one. We learn the Dark Elf are somehow involved
but unsure how or why. Who was controlling who? A'kril. Visitor
or the Elves? Why was she coming here with nothing on but a ring?
I say we move on after some of you rest and continue to explore."

[After patching up and first aid some take water and drink to
regain some strength from the fight. Time has passed and no
other reinforcements have seemed to come. The room Fremea
explored is checked but little else is done simply due to time
         in collecting bodies and gear.]

        Next Update...Friday...

GM :Next post is Chion's events....

GM: I hope I fooled some folks with Chion and Kiet? I know at least
I got two with my fun time with Chion. :) I know I'm mean. :)

GM: Next post contains what exactly went down with Chion. This
was sent to him and I replied and updated the action. It
should fill in the gaps for missing dialogue.

GM: Prisoners - 1 still alive moderately wounded. Problem is
language and the necklace Z'leyra has was used once today
already. Being a lowly guard not one of the elves he might not
know much anyways. Let me know what to do with him.

        GM: Status -

f Player Damage Level Current Hit Point %
                      Ben'dar [Light ] 12% 88%
                      Arawn [Light ] 19% 81%
                      Unali [Light ] 6% 94%
                      Fremea [Moderate] 31% 69%
                      Raban [Moderate] 44% 56%
                      Kiet [Moderate] 29% 71%
                      Z'leyra [Heavy ] 87% 13%
                      Caladan [Heavy ] 81% 19%

Raban and Kiet healed magically. Will assume everyone
gets some first aid. But its important for stats the next
day to know who from. Will assume Fremea from Arawn and
everyone else from Z'leyra unless stated otherwise.

GM: Exploration - How do you guys wish to explore in groups or
as a full party of 8? Let me know and we'll continue
as soon as a good majority has decided. If groups then
let me know what group formations.
