Chion will continue, apparently having to completely
cast a spell (at a level he can't do yet), despite it
being -in- his staff (and theoretically needing just a
command word), and totally ignore anything the redhead
has said.

He'll wait for the arrows to start hitting him before
he realizes "duh, you're an idiot, you knew that spell
takes way to long to cast from your staff" and then
goes insubstantial again and teleports home out of
frustration. (joke)
