         [New Stuff]

         [Ma 4th, 1636TH]

         [Time: 7:34am]

Gnorf asks Dorhak about Arawn and the view of Besamer.

            Dorhak chuckles slightly. "He’s
unsteady wherever he is", a good-natured but
awful looking grin on his lips. "He's fine, for
an elf. Just impetuous." He stops and looks at
Gnorf and asks "But what is a 'sea elf'? I’ve
heard of a sea lion before, but sea elf?" Dorhak shakes his head.

After Gnorf asks his question of the
Bessemer appearance, Dorhak responds "it’s not
confusion, but more like hard to grasp. It just
looks wrong. Especially no facial hair on the
females. I do like to nuzzle me some soft cheek."

Gnorff chuckles, “we believe in a
open life and thus a open face. There is some
deep meaning I'm sure but is just so. As to Sea
Elves? Some land far to the north east of us or
east of Harn if I recall. The silly elves like
the water and so use ships and all that stuff. I
understand most elves love forest so water area
is kinda odd to me. Never been there but hear they keep to themselves.”

[Time: 8:57 am – Besam, Eastern Lands, Dwarf Village]

After coming on the scene with the
human woman to be punished, Dorhak listens to
Gnorf. "I’m pretty peaceful too, preferring to
sculpt stone. But they say she was caught
stealing! She's lucky she didn’t try that with
real dwarves but humans instead. Had it been me,
the rope would have been around her ugly little
neck, not wrapped about her hands!"

The woman doesn't seem to understand
the humans or dwarves as sh flexes her fingers from the ropes.

Whoa! Turn a corner and run into a mob.

            Well, this is interesting at
least. Of course, if they are trying to inflict
real punishment they are doing it all
wrong. Amateurs. Want to really frighten
her? Do things to her remaining eye. Nobody
wants to be blind. Then throw her over the
border and let the raider source deal with the
results. You can't lust after things you can’t
see. Or, at least, it is more difficult.

Kiet has a hunch. "Keep her hands
tied!" he offers up in Dwarf Elder. Wouldn’t want
her to do anything that would hurt anyone. Not
that he thinks she can, but why take
chances. "You might also want to stuff her mouth
with a sock." Curses are, after all, a real thing.

"What was she trying to steal?,"
Arawn asked of the seeming leader of the human settlement.

Gnorf translates for Arawn, “food and
water. Doesn't matter if she is a Lemasan...”

Despite appearances he was not quick
to judge without getting the details. After all
one can steal for many different reasons, whether
out of greed or hunger and desperation. And even
the idea that she might have murdered one of the
lemasan's remained uncertain. Arawn steps forward.

Gnorf looks impatient, “we have a long trip..lets move on.”
Arawn looked the woman in the eye,
giving her a look bereft of judgement.

"What is your name? And what is your story?" Arawn asks.

            Tsia swallows nervously, feeling as
if she's gone from one group of tormentors to yet
another group. Her fate once again in the hands
of the Kami and Yokai. As of late her luck has
been nothing but ill. She wonders if the
capricious Yokai weren't to blame but for now,
she has to deal with the game pieces laid out
before her. If going by the harsh tones by two of
them, she can only guess it's yet another group
that will enslave her after tormenting her.

Upon hearing one of them speaking in
less than harsh tones she looks at him ans asks
in Katai. "My name is Tsia Phan, do I owe my
freedom to you? Or have I just gone from one
slaver to another? I was with those you called
raiders, my business had concluded with them once
I delivered a package my employer deemed it
necessary to give one of their group. I will
admit, they had tricked me. Travel with them to
obtain the payment as agreed upon. I have little
reason to lie at this time, as death to these or
death to your hands it matters little. I had not
partaken upon the predations the raiders chose to
perform. To these gaijin I am a raider regardless
in their eyes. Somehow the raiders thought to
make me a slave or other ideas I do not know. I
had left them after providing a male who didn't
take no for an answer a professional
response. He died, I left and these gaijin
caught me, I am a raider regardless in their eyes
even if I could speak their tongue it would matter little.

"As for my story? I can only offer,
be careful when you make a deal with Yokai, they
demand much for the gifts they offer," as she
raises her hand up to her face and brushes two
fingers into the empty socket. "That was over a
decade ago when the Yokai came across a scared
little girl and promised much if but demanded my
eye and part of my face. It wasn't much of a
choice then and then as of now, I would still
give the payment," she says definitely ready to
give an account for herself if needed as she
tries to move into a stance to grab her daggers that are missing.

Those who know Katai are surprised to
hear those words. Unali shifts a bit further
ahead and listens intently So the woman is not Lemasan?

Dorhak and Gnorf look bored at the
silly Katai words they don't understand. A few
moments into her speech two men approach and grab
the woman prepared to tie her up again and haul
her away. The leader gestures to one to gag her
as Kiet suggested but the woman finished her
speech as the find something to do just that.

         GM: Actions? Comments?

             Next update...Mon/Tue?

GM: A good place to stop. I've heard
from Gilbert/Mournath. He moved and got super
busy with work. I know 3 have been sick with
flu. Stuff happens. I also heard from Chris but
got also distracted by real life. Anyways, since
this is out Thursday I'll try to do another
update Mon or Tue since sat would be too soon.
