OOC...I’m not sure what Kiet knows, but first he’s going to dispel the fire trail, if the soaking rain hasn’t put it out.  If he can’t, then try to at least run a defensive fire wall around all of the group.

If Kiet hears the sounds of a fight, the next thing is to be able to see in the dark.  He will cast his Infinite Sight spell, then draw tulwar and attack.  If he sees the enemy is physically large/strong, then use the shield's Earth Strength spell, being VERY careful to walk quickly, not run, and stand his ground in a fight.
