with past experience. Just a FYI I may not note language exp on
mana chart. Figured I'd remind you now. But all other
experience is listed. But language may be not listed for privacy.

Realizing that
the mist is still whirling about her and if she dives onto the ship, it
will also impair her shipmates; she will quickly drop it as she dive
bombs the deck. If there is an open space (no allies), she will open up
with her bow, pelting the pirates, otherwise, she will go in to quickly
dispatch pirates from behind, until she can go below deck. She will keep
up her mana sensing also, just in case something comes out of the hold or
below decks.
Once the top is
being taken care of by the rest, she will quickly go down and start to
look for Arawn and Z.
GM: Ack. Regular pelting not Archery spells then?

Pyan wonders what
his best weapon is the spear Kiet gave him from Kell's Estate. IT does
lightning, though to be honest he has never seen the effects of lightning
close up except on a tree when he tried out the enchantment, it scared
him too much to try it again. Then there's the fact that He's been
walk using ta spear since he could walk and only. pick up using the sword
a few months ago, Though the party members knowledgeable in magics said
that the sword he is using has it's magics of it own that help in combat
but it's was all technical babel to him.
Pyan just hopes
it's all over before he has to give up on his bow, he's good with
arrows.

As the Black Depths close the distance to the pirate ship
Finn gives one last warning, “stay together and fight as a group back to
back. These many pirates can overwhelm one if alone.”

[Turn 35:
Phase 4 - [Phase 257]]
Kiet casts a iron skin moments before the ship comes along
side the pirate ship.

Phase 1 - [Phase 258]]
Corona dives down toward a clump of pirates and unleashes
his fire eyes upon them but the fire dart hits the deck only singing
it.
Fremea lowers herself to the deck as she cancels the mist
spell. She fires her first arrow at one random pirate but misses.
Pyan and Mae fire their bow and repeating crossbow at
pirates but both also miss.
Pirate archers fire on the party as they break cover.
Four arrows miss but 1 hits Finn in the left shoulder doing 10 points of
damage. The last arrow hits Pyan in the right middle ribs just
below his heart doing 2 points of damage.
The large wolf Zol Zim doesn't wait he charges and leaps
over the railing and lands next to pirate Archer #1. The wolf bites
the pirate in the right middle chest doing 11 points and killing the
archer.
Unali is the first to cross the gangplank. With agile
steps she crosses with ease of an expert acrobat. She ends up right
next to the wolf heading for the stairs. But she has 2 pirates in
the way. With her left magical dagger she stabs pirate #7 in lower
left just above his hip doing 11 points killing him. For her right
magical dagger he stabs #8 in his upper left leg as she ducks to avoid a
swipe with sword the blade hits his main nerve there doing enough to kill
him instantly.
Damon's sailors rush over the gangplanks and target the
archers as well. The 4 sailors slash with sword and daggers but only Zepp
hits Archer #2 doing 4 points in his left middle chest.
Mournath crosses and helps Zepp stabbing Archer #2 with his
spear and does the damage to kill him.
Kiet with agile feet crosses over to help Unali and
Pyan. He attacks Archer #3 and hits with his tulwar in the pirates
upper left chest doing 3 points of damage.
Z'leyra stares through her mist and sees ghostly form drop
her off moments ago in some room. She can't tell where. But
she does as the mist clears and forms over and over notices Arawn.
He seems to be on his back with clearly burnt tatters of clothing.
His face is away from hers but it seems she can vaguely tell his chest is
still heaving though at a slow pace.
Raddok crosses over and also attacks one archer but misses
with his mace.
Barbosa crosses but his footing is not as graceful as others
he stumbles over the gangplank but lurches forward and rolls onto the
deck of the pirate ship but does not get a chance to attack anyone.
Now all the pirates move.
At least 4 pirates move to block any boarding from the south
gangplank. Others move to protect the last archers. While others
move to get into better angles for fighting.
Two pirates move to attack the wolf while 2 from behind the
stairs area move to block any access to stairs and attack Unali.
The two on the wolf one hits but his hide protects him.
Two attacking Unali slash with sword and one hits doing
nothing to her armor as it protects her.
Dorhak crosses over the fore gangplank but his heavy armor
as well as less than agile body frame forces him to wobble a bit.
He slips and almost falls off to the water between the two ships.
As the ships move to and fro he could be crushed. But instead he falls
face forward on the gangplank almost losing his shield. Those
nearby hear great dwarven curses. Finn said this would be
swashbuckling – indeed!
Mae figures she has one more shot before reloading but
giggles as Dorhak falls.
Ix crosses over and Helps Dorhak to his feet as he grumbles
being helped b ya blind woman!
Unali notices two tiny black forms exit the stairs but its
so quick she can't determine what they are.

[Turn 36:
Phase 2 - [Phase 259]]
Fremea fires on one archer but misses. As she does she
notices out of the corner of her eye something flicker out of the stairs
alcove. The reason she missed was she turned to get a better
angle. She then notices the 2 small things are small birds hovering
over the ship about 30 feet away. But the hairs on the back of her
head stand on end as she sees both stare at her. She moves sideways
a bit and they seem to follow her. How can these creature see her
while invisible? They are small birds like hand sized. She notices
their aura is a deep blue like Coronas.
Mae fires her last dart from her crossbow but misses the
archer. Now she has to reload taking time or go melee.
Pyan turns away from the archers when he notices the 4
pirates at the other gangplank and worries they'll board. He fires
and hits one pirate in left shoulder doing 2 points of damage.
Corona dives towards another pirate but misses his magical
attack.
The wolf tries to bite one pirate but misses.
Unali stabs at the 2 new pirates in front of her. Both
daggers hit pirate #4 and % in the lower right abdomen doing enough to
kill both. She glances around unless the 2 on the wolf move in
front of her she should get to the stairs in the next second.
Brutto and Finn attack one archer doing 4 points each with
swords. Ardackle and Zepp fight one archer. While Zepp misses the
other injured sailors slashes deep in his chest and kills the archer.
Mournath and Kiet team up on last archer doing 3 and 4 with
Kiet getting the killing blow to his stomach.
Raddok hits one pirate near the dead archers already wounded
and kills him with his mace.
Barbosa attacks one pirate doing 6 points with his mace in
his left middle chest.
Pirate #10 and #11 both slash at the wolf doing 1 and 5
points to the wolf.
Pirate #12-14 move to the port side toward the invading
boarders. Pirate #12 swings at Raddok but he raises his shield and
blocks it in time.
Pirate #15 and #16 slash at Kiet and Barbosa. Kiet
blocks the sword with his shield. But Barbosa yelps in pain as he
takes 15 points to his right middle chest just below his heart by
#16.
Pirate #17 and #18 move to back up the others (#15/#16).
Pirate #19-#22 move toward port side to cut any party member moving
starboard or aft.
Pirates #23-#26 continue to guard the aft gangplank to
ensure no boarding there from Pyan and Mae.
Pirate #27 and #28 move to protect those around aft
gangplank.
Pirate #29 and #30 move to support the others near the party
but are blocked by other pirates.
Pirate #31-#33 move port side as well.
Pirates #34-#38 move from the aft poop deck and move
forward.
Dorhak shakes Ix off his shoulder and rushes Pirate #19 swings his mace
but misses.
Ix rushes to help against the wolf and thrusts her
sword-cane at one pirate but misses.

GM:
Ok. Now that the logistics are done the 5 hours first phase should
go down to 3 hours. :) First 2 phases. I think 9 are dead so a good
start. But eventually party will have a big fight on their
hands. Tomorrow busy but can possibly work on update fri/sat
if I get the time – and staff get on time. So will try to do next 2
phases Fri/Sat (probably sat). Map should be accurate on pirate/player
positions (ie tokens).
Unali can understand the pirates tongue BTW. I noticed
this updating sheets. Speaking of sheets I've been updating sheets
IBT also updated. As to sheets I'm down to only 4 left. For
Dorhak the sheet corrupted so gotta fix. But got to do Arawn, Kiet,
Fremea and Z. All others updated. Except for this pirate
combat.
Wound status at very bottom is a quick note. I'll do a
better table next time.
GM:
Dorhak – Still until which armor wearing heavy or lighter? Bad roll on
crossing the plank but got lucky didn't fall in.
Fremea – if fire on birds they are small targets
with bow. Melee might be better but they are more agile. Also if
fire on pirates let me know of any archery or other spells.
Kiet – For your spells will start next phase as
well as melee. Based on email sent. Looks lie based on chart
below 1 more phase for Skin. :<
Raddok – Remember rings can fire split darts so
can try 2 at a time. You are on map but where Barbosa (B) is so if
don't see it look for Barbosa. Each ' ' is 5 feet by 5 so
plenty of room for 2 folks. Just cramped for my map.
Unali –
Assume going down stairs next phase since finally unblocked.
