[Apris 4th, prior to the fight]


   Arawn, while tending to a few things on deck, spotted the shamaness practicing with her blade. Recalling a question he had asked her previously he waited until she was taking a break before approaching her, offering her a cup of water as he sat down nearby.


   "I normally would not ask such a question but, as you'll be walking alongside my friends into danger soon, how does your vision hamper your movement, especially in combat or when speed or sure footing is necessary?

   And how will it affect you in combat? With the rest of us battling around you I imagine it might be confusing trying to figure out targets... or know when we're far enough away to use your ring."

Other than her interaction with Kiet, Ix has been keeping to herself.  She would like to speak to the others, but feels that she will be interrupting their jobs on the ship.

Ix had spent all morning on deck, having found a safe spot to practice with her sword.  Zol'zim is keeping an eye out to warn her if she doesn't notice anyone get close so she doesn't accidentally hit anyone.

She doesn't speak the language Corona does, but she can guess that the eagle is trying to warn them of something.  Her guess was confirmed when the lookout began yelling.  She frowned and readied herself for the inevitable fight.  She reminded herself of the bracelet Kaz gave her, she'd use it if they got too close and were grouped closely together.
