Kiet is rather looking forward to viewing Z'leyra's brother's work on the statue. While Kiet's own skills don't run toward that artistry, his work with jewelry is an art in itself, so he knows how to at least appreciate the work. Thinking of the statue makes him think about his little bird statue he's been hauling around. He is rather fond of it.

The time here has been interesting, though Kiet is unsure about it being productive. At least there aren't any more naked Pyan's running around. Kiet is rather annoyed at the restrictions on use of magic by any of us men, using the term loosely with Arawn (no insult intended!), but understands it. He just doesn't like it. It's too similar to the restrictions in Katai, or in Zarun...the unelightened barbarians! Magic is such a gift! To deny it's use is simply denying reality.

Kiet is rather surprised there would be an inn here. Sadly, he has little to barter with for the stay that wouldn't be way more than the stay was worth. Next time Kiet thinks he will need to make some barter items if we enter into uncivilized areas in the future. Fortunately, jeweled items should be useful in that case.
