Kiet wonders about those conditions as well.  He hasn't been that far to the interior of the continent before, mostly living his life along the seas.  He does know a thing or two, or thinks he does, about how the Zen'da barbarians might act.

"We might do well to prepare our belongings for the trip.  It would not surprise me to see some attempts upon us, our things, and most especially our horses."  Kiet muses a bit then says, "We should try to better prepare for our nights.  Arawn...you seem to know most about the various spells.  Isn't there one I have seen you use that also helps with night sight?  Can we learn that before we go?  With a two-three year head start, we needn't be in a huge rush."

OOC...I'm talking about the Eye Powers...Infinite Sight.  Then we might be able to fare better fighting at night and not be quite so helpless...at least us pitiable, simple humans.
