Instead ao scary cloud 3 black forms emerge around the burning tree.

They are flying and black somewhat humanoid forms.  Black texture 
with black hide or scales (hard ot tell in darkness) over their body.

Hovering 5 feet off the ground they are six feet from toe to head.

Their face s a gnarles visage of skull ike head smashed by a boulder 
by a giant.
'nose' is twisted sideways at 30 degrees.
Mouth twisted at times from 20-45 degrees as if it can't decide where 
to lock positon.
Eyes shift form normal  positon for humans to cheek, forehead or even 
to the side under the 'ear'.
The face is swirling as if their flesh is in a war of itself.

But the face shows pure malice and hatred.

As one emerges a second and third come along side.
They are carrying something like weapons but in the first second of 
appearannce its hard to see what.

They eye the party with loathe disgust.

So cloud is gone.
3 Ugly flying beasts are now in same column and hex as the cloud on old map.

So thanks to David for showing the ignorance of the Dwarfs who serve 
as my editors party may survive.
