Arawn was pondering the news Kaylle had brought them, in particular the information regarding the Royal Scholar Archivist as well the mountain range where the crab armor was rumoured to have been found, when the messenger arrived at the edge of the groups table. His hand was still outstretched when the commotion began. Arawn's eyes slightly in the direction of the door, to where both beggars and the enraged husband clamored, when he caught the sudden movement of Unali as she stood and plucked a dart from her neck only to drop to the ground a moment later.
   Reacting quickly he crouched low and helped Z'leyra drag Unali to cover as he watched Ben'dar leap across the table, dagger in hand, toward the messenger. Arawn had not seen the source of the dart but considering that the man's hands seemed occupied the alfar wasn't sure that he was the one responsible and hoped that Ben'dar would not kill the man before answers were forthcoming, whether he was innocent or, if he wasn't, what knowledge he did possess. Calling out to Ben'dar as he helped drag Unali he shouted,

   "Ben'dar, are you sure the messenger's behind this? Do you see anyone else?"

   Continuing to move toward cover as he kept his ears sharp for an answer, if the warrior had one, he propped up one of the larger tables against a wall to form shelter for him and Z'leyra to do their work, his senses sharp for any sign of a threat. As he prepared to to deal with whatever poison may be coursing through the ninja's system he watched as Z'leyra pulled forth the bezoar and goblet, his own hands moving to rest on Unali's still form.
