        From Z'leyra: [Re: Actions]
          If folks losing energy she will make potion in brass goblet
          by swirling bezoar in water. She will make this for each and
          have them drink it as it should cure any death poison.

          Z'leyra runs over and removes the frog from Farseeker's face
          and tosses the frog into the bushes. She looks around to see
          if there is another enemy and calls Corona to keep watch. She
          had noticed that the one Unali killed was likely the archer.
          Walking carefully since she might stumble over any invisible
          folk. Then she quickly glances to see which of the wounded are
          stable and which are losing blood. She knows that the paralysis
          is likely to wear off within the day, but will last hours. She
          tells Unali to bandage any that are bleeding and she does the
          same.

          After the immediate death threats are bandaged she will go
          around and carefully bandage/patch (use healing skill) on each
          wounded person followed by the appropriate level Healing spell.
          Many times she will use max level.
        GM: Ack.

        From Unali: [Re: Actions]
          Feeling that she is no immediate threat of collapsing, Unali
          will first help Z'leyra check on the other members of the
          group and see if they are severely wounded. Those who need
          instant bandaging get it.

          Then she will ask Z'leyra to patch herself up, as she
          clearly needs it and also ask for a magical healing (max).

          After everybody has been checked Unali will go and check what
          the dead magic user/archer carries with him. She will keep a
          dagger ready  when she approaches the body, ready for nasty
          surprises. Only after  she is satisfied he is dead and not
          moving, will she put the dagger away in its sheeth. After
          inspecting his items, she will sit down near the camp fire,
          sitting cross legged so she faces the body and  draw her cape
          over her head, so her face is hidden in the darkness  beneath.
          She will sit silently that way for an hour or so unless
          there are any interruptions.

          Then she will inspect armor and clothes for damage and see if
          she can repair the worst of it.
        GM: Ack.

        From Ben'dar: [Re: Actions]
          When Ben'Dar regains control of his muscles, he first checks the
          horses.

          He says to Unali, "Impressive kill."  He pulls out his dagger
          from his boot sheath, "I've trained with the fighting dagger,
          but never saw much use for such a small weapon."  He looks up
          and smiles sheepishly, "Perhaps you could teach me to use this
          more effectively?"

          He examines the dead lion.  If the hide is of good quality, he
          will carefully skin it.  He'll work the skin later to make it
          into a nice saddle blanket for Tef'wo.  He removes the fangs
          and claws and adds them to his totem necklace and his wolf
          headdress.
        GM: Ack. The lion doesn't have great fangs and claws.  Its
            an adult but not massive.  Did you want both fangs
            and claws or both?  I thought you were taking trophies
            from personal kills.  Since you didn't kill the lion
            is this the same deal or different?  Keep in mind
            having all those items around necklace will be cluttered
            and weighed down.  But a fang wouldn't be much.  Let
            me know if you still want them.  Either way not a problem.
            See below on the mane.  It might make a half blanket
            for a horse but not a full length one.

        From Chion: [Re: Actions]
          Chion will say, "Unali, lets get you healed first, then I will
          help with the others. Trembyl needs immediate attention, he
          took some arrows. The paralysis will wear off and we will be
          able to hear who needs help at that point if we haven't checked
          everyone." (The loudest yellers). He will cast healings as
          needed helping Unali heal the others.

          Probably anyone with eyes open are a second priority over
          those without eyes open (Ie. Unali first, then Trembyl,
          Strei'bog, Ben'Dar, Wolf, Farseeker, the rest).

          Chion will wait until everyone is tended to before examining
          the man near the lion (with the others, presumably).
        GM: Ack.  Thank you!  That's the triage order I was looking
          for in order of who to treat first.  Thanks.

        From Z'leyra: [Re: More actions]
          After healing folks Z'leyra will go and cast Orient Self EL0
          then Detection on the spell that paralyzes Farseeker. Then she
          will cast through her staff a Purification (EL just enough to
          minimize the possibility of Abysmal Failure) for a Dispell, a
          Detection EL0 to see if the Purification spell worked and a
          Dispell Chaos spell cast through her staff at the lowest EL
          that will work (she would use Dispell Elder if it would work,
          but the EL is likely too low) on the spell keeping Farseeker
          paralyzed. Then she will dispell the paralysis on each person
          the same way. If necessary she will recast failed spells.
        GM:  Ack.

              GM: The strange man I will reveal some things about
                  him since he is dead.  He had weak stats for a
                  PC lass character, though high Will.  Single
                  digit empathy so he didn't like mercy. :)
                  He stood 5' 8 and about 177 pounds.  He had
                  tinge of pale skin as if used to the sun or
                  cold weather?  He wear natural hides and leathers
                  as clothing of tan and browns with some minor
                  green blotches mixed in.

              GM: All spells were random and it worked out nicely
                  for this enemy.  Even with him being a random
                  encounter it worked out well.  The spells fit
                  a character of his type.  The ELs of the spells
                  just for gee whiz info ranges from 2-4. :)

              GM: The Lion was a Desert Lion not waste lion.  This
                  means aside from its mane its body parts are
                  pretty much useless.  Its mane might make some
                  wig or hair item if woven well.  It happened
                  he rolled a special event with a pet and I rolled
                  it randomly and got the lion :)  So it was his
                  own pet.  The "desert" part does fit in as he
                  himself is from the far north tundra areas and
                  that's a desert.  Though lion would not be found
                  there he likely found it elsewhere.

          Adventure #3 of the 1633rd year [TH].]
          [Location: Pavassa Forest]
          [Time: Around 3:58am.]

         [Thig lands and helps Unali, Chion and Z'leyra with the
          wounded and paralyzed.  He disarms the crossbow of the
          last 2 darts and grunts.]
         Thig: "Only seven darts left." [then he sighs.]


         GM: Skipping about shortly into the future for this
             quick section below...This is the easy part to
             handle before get to the tougher section below.


         [After the frantic pace of healing and patching is done
          Thig and others inspect the enemy.]

         Thig: "Don't touch him!  He likely exudes poison.  I
           figure him to be a Kotothi Shaman.  When the frogs
           came into camp I figured they were his Tonah animal.
           The lion I have no clue maybe another tonah or a pet?
           But I've heard that Kotothi shamans who have toads
           as their tonah have special abilities.  These include
           the ability to jump great distances.  Also the ability
           to exude or use poisons.  When I saw the mist I figured
           it was poison of some kind.  Don't touch his skin just
           roll him over by touching his clothes and get items
           from him by using daggers."

         [When the man is rolled over a white substance it seen
          around the man's nose.  Thig nods.]

         Thig: "That confirms it.  No drum like Z'leyra.  Their
           focus into the shamanic trance comes from some fine
           powder they create.  I've heard the powder also gives
           them a long life.  Some in the Fierazi forest have
           been known to live over a century by the powder.  But
           before anyone sniffs it might not be a good idea.  The
           powder would surely make a connection with his gods."

         [The body is searched with careful control and the items
          in the Enemy Info above are found.  One of the bags
          contains the powder he uses, a fine white powder he
          sniffs up his nose.]

         GM: Indeed this shaman has the above spells listed.  I
           post them here in the update for information only
           and thought it was interesting being random spells
           and the random tonah determination all worked out.
           He was jumping from one tree to another without being
           seen at all due to his camuuflage spell.  If Unali hadn't
           killed him he'd have jumped the 80 feet (yes he could
           jump that high and far) up the trees and escaped.  Dang
           unali for doing that! :)  The frogs the party must
           figure out to have been a distraction.  Surely they
           could not be meant to harm.  In fact this time of year
           its odd to see them as most are in hibernation.  He
           must've summoned them for some time before he sent them
           onto the campsite.  At least that's what the party
           will discuss as the night continues.

         [The other bag on the Shaman contains smaller bags, 5
          in total, holding smaller objects.  Unali uses her two
          daggers to lift the bag off the man after the body is
          rolled over onto his back.  She opens it first and
          inspects the contents but is unsure of most of the items.]

         [Unali calls Z'leyra over to show her the bag contents.]

         Unali:  "You have more experience with plants than I do. Any
           idea what those are. He kept them close by, so I guess they
           are somewhat useful."

         [Thig, Chion and Z'leyra gather around as Z'leyra uncovers
          the contents of the bag by the campfire's light.]

         [The first small bag has 6 small seeds of a plant.  The
          trio examine it but only Z'leyra is able to identify it.]
         Z'leyra: "Amaranth.  Helps in healing and stamina I believe."
         Thig: "I feel it to be unenhanced."

         [The next bag contains about 7 small herbs.  Before the
          bag is completely unwrapped she recognizes it immediately.]
         Z'leyra: "Clove Pink.  Healing boost against disease and
           infection."
         Thig: "They've been magically improved."

         [The first to recognize the third bag is Chion, Thig and
          lastly with help Z'leyra.]
         Thig: "Cayenne.  It prevents folks from getting drunk.
           The herbs have been enhanced."

         [The next bag only Chion and Thig recognize the contents.
          Z'leyra has no clue what the herbs are.]
         Thig: "Balim herbs!  A very rare herb!  It helps brings
           the dead back to life.  I've read about their description
           like these red stripes but never seen them in person.
           He had them? Unali a great treasure!  Too bad the herbs
           are unenhanced magically."

         [The last small bag is inspected finding small pieces of
          a plant.  After a few seconds Z'leyra is able to identify
          it from the description and training.  Thig and Chion do
          not recognize it.]
         Z'leyra: "Mistletoe.  The berries have some magical ability
           to help insanity.  The berries can also improve weapon
           strength by as much as twice its normal strength."
         Thig: "Oh!  Yes.  Reason why Faerry never touch the stuff
           is if it is used on a weapon you become enemies of those
           afflicted by iron.  Since Arawn and Jordi might be it
           could be problematic for that person." [He grins]

         [Thig sniffs the quiver but doesn't touch.]
         Thig: "My guess is based on what I've guessed of the man
           he likely has poison tipped arrows.  I'd not touch
           those as well unless they are cleaned or placed in the
           fire to burn the poison away.  That means the others
           may have some poison in them we need to check carefully."

         GM: Z'leyra +1 Forester, +1 Herbalist ELs
             Chion +1 EL Forester.
             Expertise in skills for identification of the items.
             Thig got none.  Partial expertise applied as well.

         GM: Unali you made the kill you have first choice on the items.
             If you want to claim them do so.  Otherwise anyone can
             claim them as requests come in first come first choice
             and conflicts can be resolved between you guys.  Same
             with the other treasure above.  Privately in email Unali
             has already put an interest (though no claim) on the
             mistletoe. 

         ---------------------------------------------------------

         GM: Now we go back in time to the real update section.
             This is just mere seconds after Unali kills the man.

         [As the man falls panic and confusion quickly rules the
          next few minutes as the survivors check the situation
          out.  Almost a full minute of combat from sudden sleep
          is shock enough and the adrenaline is still pumping in
          everyone.  Chion still insubstantial leans into the
          tent and eyes Trembyl and doesn't see Arawn.  He leans
          back out and in his ghostly voice tells of Trembyl's
          wounds.]

         [The party is quickly checked out and its decided the
          most severe wounds are Trembyl, Boyzdar, Unali, Farseeker,
          Strie'bog, Ben'dar and Z'leyra in that order.  Thig
          flies to the horses to examine them.  Finds no physical
          wounds   He finds 6 horses down and paralyzed from the
          mist.  Two are almost on top of each other.    Tef'wo
          is up and mobile though.  The 5 horses are party horses
          and 1 is one from the attackers at the cabin.  Thig
          checks them and finds a very shallow breath.  It seems
          they can still breath but without muscle control its very
          light.  Because one horse is almost crushing another Thig
          yells for Unali and with some rope and Tef'wo and the other
          horses they get the horse off the other for better breathing.]

         Thig: "They can breath but we'll have to check on them later.
           Back to the others.."

         [By now Z'leyra has her healer's satchel in hand and though
          her speed spell is still in effect she moves quickly in
          the camp even at a controlled pace.  She finds Xian and
          places something by to label him.  Since chion feels
          Trembyl is the worse shape she heads to the tent and
          crawls in.  Chion warns her Arawn was with him so she
          slinks in slowly and finds Arawn paralyzed and invisible.
          Z'leyra examines the wounded Trembyl through the campfire
          almost due south through the open tent flap.  The two
          arrows are still embedded and bleeding is still going on.
          Thig lands and reminds Z'leyra not to touch the arrow
          tips in case of poison.  Chion informs her Trembyl has
          already been healed.]

         Thig: "He looks bad.  I can cast a mind reading spell.
           I've only learned the basics so not adept in it like
           my mind destruction spell.  He is awake maybe we can
           ask him if he is willing to risk another healing?"

         [Z'leyra continues to work on Trembyl bandaging him up
          and trying to figure the best way to pull out the arrows.
          She knows that by doing so it could actually cause more
          damage to him.  Thig tries to drag with the help of
          Unali Arawn out of the tent.  Thig then crawls to the side
          not to block the light.]

         Thig: "Trembyl your hurt bad.  I can try to read your surface
           thoughts.  If you wish to risk another healing please
           let me know.  I will not pry further beyond the answer."

         [Thig speaks a few sidh words and concentrates.  Within
          two seconds he picks up the words "Yes yes...yes...yes"
          in Trembyl's mind.  He breaks contact and nods to
          Z'leyra who prepares for the healing spell.]

         [Meanwhile Chion and Unali check the others for severe
          wounds while Unali keeps herself from bleeding badly for
          now.  Z'leyra applies herbs and other bandages around
          the wounds.  she finds pulling the arrow out may cause
          more damage but its a risk.  She begins to speak the
          words of her healing spell after applying Healer skill
          and techniques.  No time for a massage here.  She grabs
          hilt of both arrows and as soon as she is about to speak
          the last word of the spell she lifts the arrows up and
          out with the help of Thig.  Then a second later her spell
          acts and heals the wound.  yanking the arrows out does
          cause one more point of damage but the spell heals 12
          points for a net gain of 11 points of healing.  The
          second arrow wound heals completely but the first some
          part of it remains.  She checks Trembyl over again and
          finds his status definitely improved from about 30% to
          almost 75%.  But he is still hurt but better off.  Happy
          she exits the tent to check on others.]

         [Z'leyra comes to Strie'bog and the wolf.]
         Thig: "I saw him placing his hand on  Boyzdar then fall to
           the ground.  Unali has checked and he has no physical
           wounds but Boyzdar does.  My guess the spell backfired.
           His eyes so no reaction but he is alive.  My guess
           is the spell backfired and zapped him. "

         [Z'leyra checks Strie'bog and finds him stable for now.
          He'll be watched but she turns to the wolf and casts
          another healing spell after healing skill treatment on
          him.  She finds the paralysis actually helpful as the
          patient can't move or squirm.  The leg wound the goblins
          did completely heals and the wolf is now at 100%]

         [Next Z'leyra inspects Farseeker's eyes.  Nothing a fist
          normally wouldn't have caused.  The blood vessels should
          heal.  By now Chion has become solid and attempts to
          help in the camp further with bandages and herbs.
          His chest wound is bad but not fatal.  She knows Farseeker
          is strong so a minor spell is only needed.  She finds the
          healing skill fails as a result of some bad herbs so has
          to reapply the procedures.  But the healing spell itself
          heals he entire wound up and Farseeker is now 100%.]

         [Next Unali sits on the ground as Z'leyra attends to her.
          Chion sees Unali undress her top tunic for better
          inspection so he wanders off to check the horses to
          give them privacy.  Thig ensures no more frogs are
          left around camp as they are placed in the bushes.  They
          eventually head into the forest likely to hibernate again.
          Z'leyra knows Unali is also strong but a moderate spell
          may be needed with these 2 wounds.  The lion could carry
          disease or something.  Z'leyra rechecks her and finds
          about 25% of the wound is healed.  But she is still hurt.
          She bandages her up and Unali redresses for now she
          is stable.]

         [Z'leyra then checks Strie'bog, Ben'dar finding minor
          wounds.  She heals and then casts healing spells on
          Strie'bog and Ben'dar.  For ben'dar his back wound
          from the battle axe heals completely and is gone.
          For strie'bog's wound his heals completely as well.
          Lastly Z'leyra casts healing onto herself and heals
          her minor wound.]

         [Z'leyra finds everyone is completely healed physically
          except Trembyl and Unali still with moderate wounds.
          Trembyl has taken two magical healings and survived.
          That just leaves them paralyzed.]

         Thig: "Strie'bog doesn't seem paralyzed.  We can move
           his limbs with little effort compared to the others.
           If he got zapped and is in a coma which it looks like
           it does anyone have a Revive spell?  I think its the
           name or recover or something?"
         [He asks Chion, Unali and Z'leyra.]

           GM: That's the final damage report.  Trembyl has had 2
               magical healings.

          GM: Good news is I got alot of work done (mostly book keeping)
            on the update this weekend.  But its now almost 12 and near
            bedtime tonight.  I will need to figure out the mana
            costs and math for Z'leyra's dispel attempts.  So this
            is what I'll do.  I will work on that tomorrow night
            as best I can then post a update sometime Wednesday afternoon
            or night or as quickly as I figure this out.  Once
            that is done folks may be free to move and act then.
            But Strie'bog will need special treatment as above.
            He may be done for some time unless someone can help.

          GM: Need some comments

            Unali - Want another magical healing?

            Anyone can help Strie'bog? Revive him?

            There is another goblin still in camp alive.  It turns
            out he was paralyzed as well.  This is the one that
            was attacking Ben'dar.  What does the party or those
            who are awake now (Chion, Z'leyra, Thig, Unali) do
            about him now?

            What to do with the dead bodies?

            Total paralyzed -
               6 Horses
               1 wolf
               5 party members
            Based on rough math and assumptions Z'leyra won't have
            enough mana to free everyone today.  This means someone
            will remain paralyzed unless others have other ideas
            or suggestions?  Z'leyra will likely have to do in
            order of importance.

            Folks are free to give comments and suggestions on
            actions.  I'll try to work on supplement update
            tomorrow night.  I already have actions from folks
            and those will be done after paralysis is over.
