Arawn stood in the doorway, scimitar in hand, and carefully studied the scene. He would have warned Strie'bog to not rush in, that it would likely be a trap, but the Bard had moved to quickly. The situation looked grim and their foes seemed desperate. Still, the fact that Strie'bog's mother had not been used a shield, that he had been lured in himself, made him wonder as to what exactly was going on. Was she here? Had they somehow transfered her magical essence into someone or something in the room, to lure others here? Or had they used some magic that eluded Revelation? Perhaps a Transformation spell? Indeed, it was a fear that she may even have been one of the warriors present, her mind deluded and her form changed. Then again, it could be something as simple as hiding her beneath the covers of the table.
He listened to the words spoken in Vassa, aware that Strie'bog was the only other one present who could understand the words. As he translated he carefully watched Boyzdar, watching to see if the wolf gave any clue he was detecting the scent of the Green Lady.
"The man, he wants us to let him and the woman go. If we do then they will let Strie'bog live. If we do not comply then he says that Strie'bog's mother will be killed."
As he waited to see how the event would unfold and what the others would do and say he allowed his finely tuned alfar senses, combined with a strong talent for detecting hidden things, to carefully screen the room.
