[pnpgm] Ben'dar Questions and Actions

Questions/comments for others in the party (ooc):

1) Are we talking or fighting here? One enemy person seems to be related to Xian somehow...or just knows him? The enemy seems to be waiting for us to make the first move. Also, being as outnumbered as they are, would a demand from us to surrender be considered by them? (Probably not...they all seem pretty crazy)

2) The circle in the middle of the room - for the magic-users in the group - is this some sort of protective magic circle that will be used by our enemy for summoning a huge nasty beast that will kill us all? If so, would it be advisable (or possible) to try to obliterate the paint/dye on the circle BEFORE any such summoning can occur? The floor is really smooth, so perhaps the liquor/water cabinet could be thrown over to wash out part of the magic circle?

3) If the circle cannot be partially obliterated by washing...perhaps the cabinet could still be useful in the fight. If it is full of liquor...could we toss a naptha bomb at it and explode the whole thing in the face of guard #4? Saute' him a little in his plate mail armor with some white wine...heheheh!

Actions for Ben'dar:

Ben'dar looks to Farseeker to determine whether or not to attack. Depending on what Farseeker directs and what others in the party indicate, these are Ben'dar's possible actions, in order of priority.
a.. If Farseeker motions to attack and the circle wash-out idea IS good (ie if one of the magic users yells a warning about the circle), Ben'dar will rush to the cabinet first and, if it seems to hold alot of liquid and can be moved/knocked over (Ben'dar's a fairly strong guy), he will throw it over in the direction of the circle, in an attempt to wash out part of the protective markings. (Hopefully this latter action would not be what Guard #4 is expecting and he will stay on the far side of the cabinet until it's been thrown over.) Whether or not this effort succeeds, he will then move to attack Guard #4.
b.. If Farseeker motions to attack and the circle wash-out idea is NO good (ie no magic user says anything about the circle) but the naptha bomb idea IS good (ie Thig or somebody says to stay clear because they're going to blow it up), Ben'dar will let Thig (or whoever else has naptha and wants to use it in this manner) take care of blowing up the cabinet by Guard #4 and Ben'dar will charge over to Guard #3 to attack with Jordi's spear.
c.. If Farseeker motions to attack, and both the circle wash-out idea AND the naptha bomb idea are NO good (ie nobody says anything to divert Ben'dar from doing what he naturally does best: frontal assault), Ben'dar charges off at full speed to attack Guard #4.
d.. If Farseeker motions to wait, Ben'dar will reluctantly NOT attack.
In all of these scenarios, Ben'dar keeps in mind the fact that the far wall is lined with enemy archers and spellcasters, so he will move very quickly and attempt to use the columns for cover whenever possible.
