was offered. He thinks back trying to remember if he made such an offer
to him, he doesn't think so but then Kiet had already given him all
the magic he could ask for so wouldn't have paid any mind to the
temptations of more magic, thou he hopes he respectfully declined if she
did.

disappointed by ones narrowly missed."

Dorhak walks the deck as night falls in a possible hostile
port.

Dorhak orders, "I want to double-up on the all of us
doing guard duty this night. This does not mean Damon's
crewmen. We'll need them to get out of dock. Basically, the first
two shifts of people will share time all four hours. The last two
shifts will follow up for the final four hours. Horns, whistles,
armor and weapons are all to be kept nearby."

Dorhak wakes up a bit uneasy in a pirate laden port.
Those awake explain Malic's coming aboard. He left a couple hours
before and will return any minute.

Dorhak comments, "Malic has my most sincere
thanks. Zepp, well, he should consider himself lucky I don’t hang
him from the yardarms."

Dorhak is happy pirates didn't decide to raid the
ship. Not that they'd not try once leave port. Sentries
report a light foot traffic all night on the wharf, a few studied the
ship but most moved on.

Everyone is up and ready to debark. Z'leyra asks to
have those wounded head to the hold.

Z'leyra already did first aid on everyone with worst being
Barbosa but Kiet offered his healing dagger first so he was
improved. Now he gathers everyone in the hold. She explains
she'll do a mist healing and it will take a few moments. She asks Dorhak
to remain even if he wanted special “cabin healing” but she figures it is
best for him as well. She tells Unali and Barbosa to leave since
they had healing for the day.

Gathered around her all sit and wait. Holding her
staff she casts the spell and soon a green mist falls all around them in
the hold

Within 6 seconds Pyan's and Raddok's wounds are fully
healed. A second later Unali is healed. Then a second later
Dorhak and Mournath are fully healed.
Ten seconds after mist falls Ardackle is completely healed.

Thirty seconds after mist falls Kiet is fully healed.
Finally Mae, Z'leyra and Arawn are healed. At 50 seconds after mist
falls the last – Barbosa is fully healed.

For a bit over an hour Malic has come before sunrise with
anywhere from 4-5 wagons at one time. Based on estimates prices
Malic and 8 well armed and armored guards in chain arrive. Once
they are satisfied no one is watching them they lift the tarp to reveal a
empty wagon. Dorhak growls expecting to be paid. But then 4
of the guards climb up and mime lifting something up. Dorhak shows
agitation when he approaches and slams into something heavy. Malic
smiles, “your 350 and change gold as we agreed to. The chest
is invisible as it keeps it secure.” He waves his guards to the
ship to unload the big amount of gold. The chest comes back to me
but gold you keep.”

Malic looks around and warms up his hands in the cold early
morning breeze. “You know...there are rumors flying around.
Some are saying Kalic's crew was taken out and even his pet wizard.
Two ships...burnt...just a hour or so away. These waters are dangerous
indeed. You better be careful leaving. Whoever did it was
strong enough to take out 2 full ship crews. Rumor is even their
ships were pillaged. No survivors. But whoever stole that
loot will be well off. I'm glad your stuff was from Vahear.”

“Your ...items..I had to do some dealing to come up with
that much gold. Deals with 4 merchants and 2 lenders. But we'll all
profit from it. Just will take time to sell. But that's my
problem isn't it?”

The four guards rush back and cover the invisible chest.
Dorhak looks to Kiet and Unali who confirms the gold is there on the ship
in full amount.

Malic extends a hand to Dorhak, “nice business dealing with
you Red. Be careful out there. If you see Captain Damon tell
him he owes me big and at least a 1545 wine bottle!”

With that Malic mounts and the wagons move on. Dorhak
still doesn't trust the man fully as this could be a trap. So he
orders the crew to un-dock immediately.

The Black Depths eases away from the dock as the first rays
of daylight breaks the dawn. Dorhak orders that speed spell from
Arawn as soon as they are away from shallow areas. Now the ship
heads west toward Vahear a trip that will take about 5 days.

quick update I got done. I was going to do more but got delayed and
will be busy today (Wed). So this is it for now. Saturday
will try to move us to Vahear for any possible encounters. The
final treasure list is on the site at bottom of links area
(trf.txt). It shows selected items and results of items sold
to Malic. In the end if my math is correct everyone will get 20
gold and change. Pyan – I noticed that the post on items was from
LAST adventure. I've added that to sheet. But for this loot
list I didn't see any selections. So will get the gold. ;) If folks
need a updated sheet let me know but may want to wait until reach
Vahear. All healing is done and all at 100%. Some folks may
need to recover mana for final adventure details. ;) Lots of item
conflicts. How to resolve? Up to you guys. A fight to
death would be fun to see? Over forks :) Best to just contact and
haggle over it.
