Game Update #283 in sequence (file #476)<br>

Admin notes: Sorry for the delay. Storm today knocked out<br>
power for 3 hours. Just now getting to the update. Before<br>
that I've been down with a pink eye type deal and my eyes<br>
are still a bit bleary so bear with me. I hope I don't make<br>
much many mistakes :)<br>

opened yet? Not that Unali is stupid enough to try. She<br>
will say the password Stockcade and move towards the
fight.<br>

Time: Estimated 7:07am-7:22am - Morning Day 22<br>

[Level 7]<br>
<br>
Turn 1: Phase 2<br>
<br>
[Triest levels his Heavy Crossbow at the guard in front<br>
of him (#3 on map) and fires at short range. The<br>
strike hits and impacts in the side of the abdomen doing<br>
5 points of damage to the guard.]<br>
<br>
[Neva fires on #3 as well but the arrow impacts on the<br>
snad dirt floor below the guard.]<br>
<br>
[Caladan also fires on #3 and hits doing the final blow<br>
of damage to kill the female guard. She falls to the<br>
ground dropping her sword.]<br>
<br>
[Xian aims his Arbalest at a guard out of the view of<br>
others (roughly A6 on map). The bolt flies but does<br>
not hit the guard at all.]<br>
<br>
[Farseeker steps over the guard he just killed and<br>
walks toward the one near Z'leyra. He thrusts at<br>
guard #4 and hits doing the final blow to kill the<br>
wounded guard.]<br>
<br>
[Unali moves forward and speaks the password..]<br>
<br>
[Chion waits in the stairs area...]<br>
<br>
[Wi swings on Guard #2 but only smacks the sword against<br>
the guard's shield.]<br>
<br>
[Kasha moves down the hall about 10 feet to wait in case<br>
anyonc comes out the door.]<br>
<br>
[Cholan moves forward and looks for targets..]<br>
<br>
[Z'leyra moves a few feet westward.]<br>
<br>
[Jordi stabs the female guard #1 and hits but only<br>
a minor 2 point damage.]<br>
<br>
[Suresh runs to join Wi and Aren attacking the guard #2<br>
but fails to hit..]<br>
<br>
[Guard #1 swings mace at Jordi and hits but the elven<br>
Scale mail protects from any damage.]<br>
<br>
[Guard #2 swings on Suresh but fails to hit him since<br>
he is fighting up to 3 at once hes distracted.]<br>
<br>
[Shah looks at Chion and wonders why he isn't fighting.<br>
But he also stands back afraid himself...]<br>
<br>
[Amin thrusts at guard #2 but does not hit.]<br>
<br>
[Dex can't swing behind others..]<br>
<br>
[Aren comes around Suresh and Wi and thrusts at Guard #2<br>
but does not strike either.]<br>

[The guard Xian fired on leaves his position and comes
forward.<br>
He looks down the hall at the intruders. He is wearing<br>
chain and has a mace and shield. He looks over his
shoulder<br>
and waves to someone down the other hall. Xian can hear<br>
some shouts and footsteps. Reinforcements.]<br>
<br>
Turn 1: Phase 3<br>
<br>
[Farseeker runs toward Jordi to help out. But doesn't<br>
reach him.]<br>
<br>
[Triest runs forward. He pulls his crossbow on his
shoulder<br>
and pulls his weapon out.]<br>
<br>
[Unali rounds the corner and sees Shah and Chion at the<br>
end. Both look surprises to see them. She nods and<br>
figures the others are around the corner...]<br>
<br>
[Neva reloads her bow and stands by...]<br>
<br>
[Caladan shoulders his composite bow and runs forward with<br>
staff at the ready..]<br>
<br>
[Chion sees Unali coming then Triest and Caladan moving<br>
out of view..]<br>
<br>
[Wi swings at Guard #2 but fails to hit again..]<br>
<br>
[Kasha stays put by the door listening as best he can..]<br>
<br>
[Cholan with Axe moves forward down the hall.]<br>
<br>
[Z'leyra looks around. She notices this seems to easy<br>
and stands back. Maybe Kasha is good to watch the<br>
doors.]<br>
<br>
[Jordi thrusts again at Guard #1 and hits doing severe<br>
damage to the chest of the female guard killing her.<br>
She drops his mace and falls to the ground.]<br>
<br>
[Suresh thrusts at Gaurd #2 and finally hits him diong<br>
massive 7 points of damage but the guard still remains<br>
standing..]<br>
<br>
[Guard #2 hurt now turns and thrusts at Diplomat Amin<br>
and hits doing 4 points of damage to the already<br>
wounded guard. The diplomat sags to his knees and<br>
slumps up on his side against the wall.]<br>
<br>
[Xian shoulders his arbalest and grabs his Warstaff.<br>
Still in his green hue he runs toward the others and<br>
meets up alongside Farseeker.]<br>
<br>
[Dex grabs Amin and tries to see if he is still alive.]<br>
<br>
[Aren yells]<br>
Aren: "Man down!"<br>
[Aren then thrusts at Guard #2 but fails to hit.]<br>
<br>
[Suddenly two doors open one where Xian was just near<br>
a female guard comes out with sword, shield and wearing<br>
leather emerges to survey the combat.]<br>
<br>
[The other guard comes running out and stops just outside<br>
the door near Kasha and Z'leyra. He is wearing leather<br>
and has mace and shield.]<br>
<br>
[Then Z'leyra hears the door across the way open near<br>
Aren and the others. She notices a group. Maybe 3-5<br>
in the room trying to get out. The first guard is<br>
female and wearing chain and holding a great sword.]<br>
<br>
[Then if things are worse Cholan and Jordi sees others<br>
coming from the other direction. Two guards with<br>
weapons near the one xian fired on. Then a female<br>
in a white dress with yellow sash and red stripes at<br>
the wriests comes walking slowly forward. She sees<br>
the others and brings forward a staff. Its a long<br>
staff about as tall as Z'leyras (6 feet or so).<br>
The priestess murmurs a quick word then slams the<br>
staff down on the ground. Suddenly a yellow ball<br>
of light appears a few feet in front of her and fades<br>
to show a creature standing there. The creature seems<br>
to be wearing a darkish grayish robe. It stands well<br>
over 6.5 feet tall, well muscled and slightly bad<br>
composure standing. It looks humanoid but at this<br>
distance its hard to tell.]<br>
