[Time: 7:18:03 pm LW time]
[Phase 3]
Kiet is getting annoyed at the bats
and their mess. If they are hanging upside down
when they poop, how do they not get it all over themselves?
Ewwww! Maybe the do get it all over themselves. Gross!
But then the Bes guard notice the
bush hiding something. Kiet, being well versed in
plant lore, should have noticed something off
about that. Not a lot of bushes can survive this deep in a cave.
Hmmm, the chair is interesting but he
can’t make out what else is in there
Kiet clearly hears him say 'Giant!'
however. Kiet grabs his tulwar and shield and
activates his hopefully not ruined boots for
speed, the runs as fast as he can to get to the
tunnel entrance (even if the speed doesn’t work).

[Phase 3]
The Giant turns to stab Upus with his
spear but misses. With his free hand he shoves
Kimis to the side but the blow is light enough she takes no damage.
Upus swings his battle axe but fails to hit.
Kimis also fails to hit the beast with her battle axe.
The King raises a hand and yells to
Barbosa, “wait. I have an idea!” He reaches
inside his pouch and grabs 2 stones. He begins
to bang the 2 stones together.

[Phase 4]
Kiet arrives outside to see another
giant fighting the Diumagi. He uses his acrobat
skills and speed to move to the side of the giant
and slices his leg doing 6 points of damage.
The Giant turns to stab at Kimis but
fails to hit. He tries to bash with his free
hand Upus but he moves away in time.
Upus hits giant in leg for another 2 points with his axe.
Kimis swings her own battle axe
hitting the giant in leg for another 9 points.

[Phase 5]
Moments earlier the strange metal
inside the rocks the King bangs creates a
subsonic sound that irritates the bats. En masse
they figure it it time to go feed or flee from
this annoying sound. They fly toward the
entrance and reaches the threshold seconds later
flying at chest height to the giant. The bats
about 61 of them hit the giant as hundreds of
others dodge him. Most avoid full contact as
they fly away at last second. But dozens hit him doing 6 points.
Kiet slices with his tulwar and does
the final damage to kill the giant.
The giant starts to teeter backwards
and falls fast before Upus can jump away he lands
on Upus. Upus takes another 3 points as Kimis
and Kiet rush to help move the giant off the Diumagi.
The three reenter the cave and the
Diumagi take sentry again. Kimis helps to treat
Upus's bruises as best she can without medical
supplies. Kiet returns to send Barbosa back as
sentry and he heads to scan the treasure.
Activating his bracer he does find
magical items. There seems to be 19 items. A
scroll of some kind. A broken wine glass
bottle. A landscape painting that is about 16
square feet rolled up and dusty. Some dozens of
green fine cloth. A tin plate A red satin
chair. A iron goblet. A broken nightstand style
table. A wooden chest of assorted coins. Small
worthless gem. A small Jet jewel. A cooper bracelet. A nickel necklace.
A magical talisman. A elixir of grey
liquid in a metal flask detects as magical. A
magical sword. A 13 inch magical wand. A
magical amulet. Finally a magical bracelet.
[Time: 7:22 pm LW time]
Dorhak begins to pace back and forth
as the anger builds waiting for Fremea to
return. Where is she? Did she get lost or find some shiny thing to play with?
Barbosa asks Kiet, “we can carry all
but the furniture. Wonder why its here. But what should we do with it?”
King shrugs, “giants do like to raid
human homes so maybe there? Maybe a random wagon
raided? But more likely the Coalition here left
it. Maybe once long ago it has more furniture
and more a oasis than a dusty cave.”

[Earlier with Fremea...]
Fremea disappears....
Then reappears in brightness. The
Faerry's eyes blink as she tries to adjust to
being now back outside. A brisk cool wind blows
all over her from south to north. Fremea finds
herself standing on a solid stone surface. She
glances around and sees mountains and
forests. She moans and lifts off for a better view.
As she hovers about 15 feet up she
glances down to ensure no gear is lost. Then
notices some pictographs and possible runes on
the surface. The stone platform seems to be on
top of a mountain with forests all around below
in every direction. The surface of stone is a
pale white about 50 x 50 feet. It is too flat and
uniform to be naturally made.
Fremea concentrates on the
writing/runes. She is no super reader of such
things. But Arawn did give her some pointers. As
well as Etain claiming that she may need to know
that stuff as ruler. Which just made her
mad. But Etain was persistent. From what she
gathers and she fears she is not 100% accurate it
seems to say she was sent here from the
cave. She knows this already. Something about
to be effective in – it doesn’t say cave but more
like place of origin? A group must be done. A
single person can risk exposure or damage if she
reads it correctly. It seems to imply covertly
that 2 or more of the alliance needs to be
explorers. She recalls the King saying
something about a Coalition? She only vaguely
remembers being bored at the time she heard
it. So Bes, Dwarf and Elves? So does this mean
to move about a Elf should be with Bes or Beds and Dwarf?
Maybe that's why she was teleported
away? She was moving alone in the cave.
Fremea goes up higher a few hundred
feet to get a better view and scans for the Eagle
Rock. She spots the plain to the south and shes
a dozen or so miles north so she isn't too far
away. She spots on the plain the watering hole
the party found earlier. So that would place
Eagle Rock slightly north east from there. She heads that way.
Shaking her head, and talking to
herself out loud, "good thing it was me being put
up here. No one else really could just get down quickly. Haha"
She really hopes that when she gets
back there, the groups that are left will be able
to go through the runes. Guess she will have to
do a better job of studying such things later,
with Kaylle. A smile crosses her face when she
thinks of him. It will be good to get out of
these underground places. Damn, they just cramp
her style. She forces herself to fly just a tad
faster, in case something else is waiting to spring out.
[Time: 7:24 pm LW time]
Fremea spots a large group of bugs
fly up into the sky. Then she realizes they are
not bugs but bats. They seem to circle for a few
minutes then dive back down. Could they be the same bats?
Suddenly the bats realize it is day
not night return to the cave hoping the awful
rock noise has stopped. Hundreds swoop down and
into the cave. The Diumagi and Barbosa duck heads
and cover heads as the bats fly overhead only a
few feet above them. They return to their rock
roosts and perch back into place as the smell of
them returns to Kiet and the Bes.
Suddenly Fremea dives into the cave
and Kimis swings her axe but realizes what demon
or rather person this is and holds her
blow. Fremea pants a bit and tells them to come hurry.
Barbosa yells, “weren't you in the
cave that way?” But she flies fast and seems to
ignore him. Barbosa waves for the others to join
and the trio try to job behind the Faerry.
Fremea slows down when she enters the
bat area and wrinkles her nose again. Kiet
glances up and is confused to see Fremea back out
this way. She waves for everyone to follow.
Dorhak throws up his hands in
frustration. He begins to head back toward the
winding tunnel. But Arawn stops him. After some
consideration the clues seem to be falling into
place. The druid says to give her a bit more
time. Maybe the wards are used against 2 or
more members of the coalition so a lone dwarf would be bad off.
Kiet grumbles and tells the Bes to
carry as much as they can he asks Barbosa to help out carry stuff.
Fremea leads the party further into
the cave and into the winding tunnel. Soon she
leads the group to the rest of the party.
Arawn and Z'leyra notice Upus has new
wounds? They wonder what happened.
/Dorhak eager to move on flips a coin
and fate decides the left tunnel is the one they
will go. He raises up his shield and moves into the cave tunnel.

GM: Had a minor ftp/website issue but
Tobie fixed it. Above is what Fremea saw and
reacted to. I assume all loot except furniture?
Is taken? Anything to do before entering tunnel as a full party?
