GM: Ack.

?Kiet doesn’t like the sound of
this at all. As fast as the two people,
creatures, or things are moving...it bodes ill.
Kiet will activate his boots,
head over to protect the King, and be ready to
send ring fire into each of those approaching if it seems prudent.
GM: Ack.
From Raddok: [Re: Actions]
Raddok will get into a position
to defend the King that works with the others
deployment & has his mace & shield ready. He does
not recognize whatever it is coming toward them,
but since the eyes seem red, he glances at Kimis
& Upus to see if they seem to recognize what the
runners are. If they shout any kind of warning,
he will listen carefully to any translation of
what they say, for he has started trusting them,
altho he still has a lot of questions he'd like
to ask them, out of simple curiosity of where they grew up.

[New Stuff]
[Ma 9th, 1636TH]
[Time: 4:04:06 pm]
[Turn 1: Phase 3]
Pyan and Opus fire bows at the
creatures. Opus's arrow comes close missing only
inches away but no hits are made.
Fremea flies toward the group and
dives below the trees to get a better view
dodging trees and bushes through a maze of
green. She spots the party soon after and a fast
moving duo of some kind of creature? Are they friend or foe?
Those same creatures run forward
ignoring Unali only 15 feet or so. They both
move toward Kimis and Opus. This is when all can
see these things are slimy too. Opus and Kimis
almost faint under the noxious odor their breath gives when close.
Creature #1 slashes his claws at
Kimis and hits low in her left leg drawing 2
points of blood. Creature #2 claws at Opus and
slices a 45 degree from top right to lower left
on his lower left just above his hip doing a
massive 8 points with a single claw shredding his
leather armor. Opus howls in pain surprised.
Unali charges to help Kimis and gets
a wide open shot at the creature's back (#1)
hitting in it's lower back left and right just
above the hips with both magical daggers doing 9 and 9 points each.
Arawn moves to help Opus who was just
badly hurt, raising shield and sword. Also he
needs a better view to see if these are
hostile. But once Opus is hurt Arawn gets that
answer. He thrusts his sword at creature #2 but fails to hit.
Tsia moves to help Arawn drawing both
daggers and slashing at the creature but both miss.
Kiet doesn’t like the sound of this
at all. As fast as the two people, creatures, or
things are moving...it bodes ill. Kiet moves to
protect the King moving south and watches as Arawn and Tsia take on the things.
Pyan drops his bow and grabs his
spear. He moves a few feet to attack creature #2 but fails to hit.
Z'leyra raises shield and
moves around Tsia and Arawn. She moves to side
and behind of the creature (#2) and slices across
it's left shoulder doing 12 points of damage.
Opus swings his battle axe but misses his attacker.
Raddok moves south to block access to
the King and gets next to Kiet.
The King sees Raddok and Kiet try to
block his path. He growls a bit and tries to get
a good view of these creatures. Being peaceful
they will not react until its needed.
Kimis swings her battle axe and it
slices up right at the creatures head to cut it
off. But as the blade impacts it's skull it
seems to do nothing! Kimis's jaw drops in shock
a normal man would've lost his head to that. This did nothing!
The Bes stands by his King for now.
Dorhak can see in this light just
fine. In fact, it’s a good deal brighter than
home in the caverns. Seeing the two forms
charging in worries him, but they don’t know what
they are in for with this group. "form up on the
King!" he yells out in Marentian and Dwarf Elder,
drawing his sword while he moves.
Dorhak is happy to see Raddok and Kiet already plan for this.
Dorhak and Barbosa move in front of
Raddok & Kiet but behind Arawn to guard the Bes.

[Turn 1: Phase 4]
Fremea sees the two creatures and one
is virtually surrounded but only 1 is being
attacked by Unali and Kimis. She draws her
dagger, no time for a bow, flying straight for
creature #1. She tries to stab at head or neck
since allies are nearby and misses in her strike as she flies past
Creature #1 claws at Kimis, amazingly
ignoring Unali in a battle rage, hitting doing a
massive 10 points with its claws in her lower
right abdomen. She gives a slight cry of pain in surprise.
Creature #2 claws at Opus but he weaves and no hit is made.
Unali stabs both daggers in back
hitting right shoulder and lower left abdomen
doing 13 and 14 points. This is enough to kill the beast.
Arawn digs through his memories and
training. These creatures ring a bell as the
humans say. There is something dangerous about
them. Then 3 seconds later he realizes who or
what they are. He begins to say the word...
Tsia swipes both her daggers but both
miss as the creature is slippery as it moves from the slime.
Kiet flexes his fingers. He sees
Unali kill one but that leaves one left. But he
cant' use his rings or hurt others. Unless he
leaves his position and moves behind the creature to where its open.
Pyan stabs the creature in the side
but the blow seems to do no damage?
Z'leyra misses in her sword slash at the creature.
Opus swings his battle axe but misses again.
Raddok holds position with mace and shield.
The King then realizes a long ago
boring story told by his aides. About creatures
that hate music and merriment. He yells in dwarf, “They are Grundwergen!”
Arawn hears the King say it before he does. That confirms it.
Raddok prepares to translate what the King said.
Kimis nods curtly to Unali in thanks
then turns and runs back to help Opus.
Kimis swings her axe at the last
creature with another head shot strike. A
definite kill! ...or maybe not? The blade seems
to do no damage. She begins to wonder if her axe is defective?
The dwarves stare at each other
wondering what the Grund things are? They've never heard of them.
GM: Actions? Comments?
Next update....Friday or next Monday.
GM: A quick update. Should be combat
over next update. I would've finished it now but
decided to give me free time. I'm off 5 days
this week and next. So will try to do update
Friday if not Monday. Saturday work 10.5 hours
so probably too tired for a update. Hope all
enjoyed the Turkey. Hope all enjoyed the Potions supplement I posted. :)
