[pnpgm] Game Update #123 - File #922 - Wolf Combat final phases

Fremea is upset with herself for letting one of the wolves damage her wing. She will tend to herself and use her own healing spell to repair it. After that is done, she will check to see if these wolves have any properties that she could utilize.

tells Tsia "You can use the knives next to my boots or belts."
[These are throwing daggers, 2 next to each, sharp but otherwise nothing
special.]

   GM: Ack. That in combat or previously? I assume in combat
but she already has the daggers her own.

        Raddok had
successfully reached the horses, a bit rattled from ….


        If he sees any
additional wolves attacking, he will continue to help his companions –
some were definitely hurt – to get rid of the wolves. He hopes he doesn't
cut his feet in the dark, since his boots were still in the tent, as he
runs to the wolf attacking Z’leyra & Tsia, with both shield &
mace ready.

   GM: Ack.

        Tsia screams in
pain, feeling her flesh torn from her shoulder.  She hears Z'leyra
but had already commuted to obtaining her own daggers.  She can't
find them!  She turns back to try and get the daggers offered by
one she hopes she can trust.4

   GM<: Ack. No you got them I hope its conveyed that way in
last update.

        Tsia screams in
pain, feeling her flesh torn from her shoulder.Â


        If she is able to
grab the throwing daggers, she'll use them as improvised fighting daggers
not to throw but to fight as she can.  If she fails at that, she'll
fall back on what the Yokai gifted her with.

   GM: Ack. Got your personal daggers.  Gifted her? Hmmm

        OOC Comcast put

        "keep
going!  We're winning!"  Dorhak keeps swinging for the
white fiends.

   GM: Ack. Yeah check Archives or Discord I post once updates

   Fremea dives toward #9 and slices at the back of the wolf
but it goes a bit too far up and hits his left shoulder doing 5 points of
damage.


   Wolf #2 glances around and sees the down horse and barks a
few times but turns to Kiet.  He lunges but Kiet sees it by a mile
and steps aside and the wolf lands on his feet missing Kiet by feet.


   Wolf #3 has two targets Pyan and Z'leyra.  It chooses
to attack Pyan again but as she tries to bite the hunter misses.


   Wolf #4 has 4 targets but makes the mistake to turn against
3 and attack Dorhak but misses.


   Wolf #9 has 4 targets but chooses Unali but as it bites she
uses a dagger to deflect his jaws and misses.


   Unali uses her free hand, other she parried with, to hit
Wolf #9 in the right shoulder to do the final damage to kill it.


   Arawn hits Wolf #5 in the right shoulder doing the final
damage to kill it.


   Tsia screams in pain, feeling her flesh torn from her
shoulder.  She hears Z'leyra but had already committed to obtaining
her own daggers, she trusts them to do as they will, but she can't find
them!  Not the throwing daggers Z'leyra suggested but did find her
own.  The pain at least lets her know she's still part of the
living, though the stray thought of that's what her flesh looks like
still warm and alive, rather than cold and dead hits her.  It's
almost comforting.


   Tsia turns to check for more targets and spots #3.  She
charges and stabs with her two daggers.  One misses but the first
hits and does the final damage to kill the wolf.  Ironically the one
that gave her the first big bite.


   Kiet has a clear open shot to the wolf that fumbled his
attack but the wolf is smart and rolls away so Kiet misses.


   Mournath runs toward Kiet to help him.


   Z'leyra sees no more targets so glances at Pyan's and then
Tsia's bodies. She figures Tsia will need treating fast.


   Pyan looks around but only sees one wolf left so looks into
the darkness for more that may be prowling around.


   Raddok had successfully reached the horses, a bit rattled
from trying to look in all directions at once, but there are others
already there, tackling a wolf from all sides beside a fallen horse.
Seeing that there seemed to be enough help at that spot, he turned back
toward the campfire, resolving to protect the horses from the north side,
the campfire side, since no one there.


   However, he had now moved out of reach of helping Z'leyra
and Tsia, and turned back toward them, feeling they might need help. But
he still felt distracted – what was wrong - OH! - where had the wolves
gone? He could swear there had been more – had they turned invisible?
Where were they?


   As he worried, he ran back to the wolf attacking Tsia &
Z'leyra, to help fight it. While moving toward them, he keeps casting
quick looks around him (where did the wolves go?) & dimly sees
another of the white creatures attacking someone ahead to & to
Raddok's right – Kiet? Okay – on once this one (wolf #3) is done for, he
would run toward wolf #2, to help Kiet. He hadn't seen any wolves other
than the one the dwarves & Arawn were fighting to the south anymore,
and he hoped none were in the tents still standing – is own had
half-collapsed quite satisfactorily. I If he could keep the wolves ahead
of him occupied, the horses would not be attacked from this side.


   Raddok moves to help Kiet with the last wolf.


   "keep going!  We're winning!"  Dorhak
keeps swinging for the white fiends.


   Barbosa and Dorhak turns and charge wolf #2.

Phase 1]


   Fremea flies toward Kiet to help.  She stabs wolf #2 in
middle right side and does the final damage to kill it (19).


   The entire combat was 16-17 seconds.  The party
recovers and finds no more wolves around.  Those like Pyan who
inspect them figure they were targeting the horses for food.  Then
come back once party left them behind.


   Arawn kneels at the down horse and finds it is dead beyond
help  at this point.  The wounds are too deep and severe to
heal.


   Barbosa checks his wound and finds he finally healed
naturally his major wound and only leaves a minor one now.


   Tsia collapses to her knees as the pain is intense.


   Pyan inspects the wolves and recognizes them from old
stories even in his land.  They don't exist now – probably over
hunted.  But they called these – based on the descriptions so should
be correct – Blood Wolves.  Combat was fun and fast those wolves
MR18 are super fast. Could've crossed the map fast.  Next update
should be done with Z's/Unali's sheets.  Then do next encounter that
may exist.  So can handle healing for now.

        GM: A
short update.  But I spent most of day updating mana report now
updated and online with experience and correct mana.  Updated
finally after 6 months.  I still need to finish Zs and Unali's
sheets edits.  But aside from Z's mana the report is 100% correct
and updated.  Dang! I forgot Two Handed skill experience for Tsia
and Unali.  So not on report.
