GM: Ack. Welcome back! Yeah you had 2 MMEd msgs. One had to
be for Mournath the other no clue. I've not seen MME stuff
             since late 90s. :)

I was responding from my phone. Not sure why they popped up like that. I meant to send out a proper post the next day but just ran short on time.

Febris 7th

5:18pm - 8:03pm

While others had worked to make themselves presentable Arawn threw himself into work, cheerfully joining the villagers as they prepared the party's camp. Where language failed to meet kind eyes and a warm smile, sometimes spreading into a full grin, did what they could to foster a connection between the kameri and the druid. And true to his nature, he made sure not to forget the animals as well, whether local or familiar. And all the while he took in his surroundings, reading the people, seeking to understand their ways beyond the stories heard or read prior to his arrival. That most of the men stood back watching was something he did not fail to miss, Arawn wondering if this was an issue of societal roles or the wary attention of a warriors lodge. But he remained unsure for now, opting for a warm if subdued presence while here, hoping to garner respect from all facets of the culture.

As things began to settle down Arawn took some time to sip the spiced tea, inquiring into the ingredients, while listening to the constable's efforts to enlighten the group to kameran culture. Arawn had spent some time reading books on the kameri alongside conversations with Z'leyra, hoping to use the knowledge towards diplomatic ends, or at least to avoid a social faux-pas. He kept quiet through the speech, sensing that Z'leyra might speak up if corrections were in order, though his brilliant blue-green eyes narrowed slightly when Utgard's possible worship was mentioned.

"Z'leyra, is that true, is Utgard worshipped among your people?"

He met Irana and Ohalo with reserved respect, though he did glance at the cosmic symbols marking the woman's robes as he sought to divine their meaning and affiliation. Afterwards, after Z'leyra offered them to the locals, he helped to bring forth a portion of the gifts set aside for the kameri, though he kept a package to himself for the time being. Only after Z'leyra's story came to a close did he prepare to present it. Just before Irana departed for the evening he stepped forward and gave her a kind smile before offering the gift, a complete healer's kit that the woman might use to heal the aches of the hard-working members of her village.

------------

Arawn looked toward Fuk when the man sought company for an excursion towards the mens drinking area. He gave a nod just as Kiet called out to Kell, his ever curious nature guiding him to join three as they made their way into the night.

5:53am

Arawn accepted the food and drink in a most grateful manner. Discovering the presence of a bark extract in the tea he asked Z'leyra if she happened to know the particular tree, his training as an herbalist and forester urging him to expand his knowledge as wandered this world.

7:03am

Arawn kept a careful eye on Z'leyra's belongings, hoping for her win while maintaining an impassive demeanor. And as the battle closed he joined the shamaness, already in the process of procuring healing items for her to use on the champion as he crossed the field. He knelt beside her as he assisted, all the while taking in the lesson as he sought to expand his knowledge from the elven to human anatomy.
