"Yes", says Kiet.  "I could stay.  Even with their onerous restrictions, it could be worse."

Kiet is thinking about his own little purchase of enough items to really work on his jewelry items.  There are a lot of things to do, including work on his own skills.

"Truly, I would rather ride back to Sivas but some seem to be anxious to go.  I don't like the shortcuts.  It removes the appreciation for the accomplishments."

In Pyan's native tongue, Kiet asks him, "What about you, Pyangalor?  What do you say about how we get to the Kameran?  What, if anything, do you know of that area?  I haven't ever been to the interior of the continent."
