Kell - Who is Moloch (vs Ashur)

"Lords of Chaos and Law," Arawn muttered, staring into the distant crowd.

"Nay," he quietly replied after Kell's question. "A demon-lord and feaster of infants. And those who worship him often do so either for power, have been corrupted, or for fear of his wrath. I would love to know what drives this small group but there is no time for that.

The others," he said, nodding in the direction of the larger. "Serve the sky god, Ashur, and will not suffer the demon-lord's servants in these lands."

He looked to the guardsmen attending to the disturbance.

"Let us hope the soldiers will be able to keep things in line. But if any infants end up missing this area may explode into a hotbead of activity."

With space limited Arawn opted for the barn, preferring hay and horses over the hard floor. And not that trouble was likely to brew but it also offered the group a set of eyes on whatever valuables they might choose to leave with the horses.

When morning arrived he broke bread with the innkeeper and staff, trading stories while the others ate and seeking news of the road ahead.

Upon entering the forest he'll cast Sleep Sight at night if this is not already being done. If this can cover the entire group he'll do so at max EL, warning the party and horses of the border. If it doesn't cover the entire group he'll cast it so that it covers the area around his tent and his horses.

In the morning he'll cast Wood Sage as an area of effect spell at max EL and ask the wood if any unnatural danger exists along the road to the limits of the spell's range. He'll do the same when they camp as well, asking if any unnatural threats are in the area.

[Novehas 27th]

Energy Shield at max EL on himself.

Tell the horses to keep together while he dismounts and heads north into the forest to use Hide in Forest ability and look for source of attacks.

Healing SOP:

I was thinking that Z'leyra and Arawn can use the Healer skill on the wounded (as appropriate to race). Afterwards if the wounded are limited to 2 or less individuals that Z'leyra could heal them and if there are 3 or more wounded then Arawn could use Healing Mist. If 3 or more people are wounded but all the wounds are light then Z'leyra and Arawn can split magical healing among the wounded, with Arawn practicing Healing Hand at max EL.

And in the middle of enemy territory, such as the Vong labyrinth, we could just RP healing decisions.
