      [Recap]

         From Will: [Re: Actions]
Will asks Z' if the manor has the tools to make some new
finghting knives. Will has a particular liking for kukri
fighting Knife. If he has time he will make a pair of
           them.
GM: Ack. Sadly no time to make the knives. Would take longer.

         From Will: [Re: Actions]
If not he will just repair his armor and practice his
           bower skill.
GM: Ack. Armor is fine plus you got some from Z'leyra.
Got a dagger or two damaged. I don't see a boywer
skill at all? Ahh I checked the IBT files. You did
get expertise. :) Ok. So learned more on that skill
but not fully learned yet. Since not posted on gear
             will assume taking everything.

         From Arawn: [Re: Actions]
During those times that Will and his wolf are present Arawn
can be seen spending time with the wolf, befriending it in
the way of elves. It's nothing those in the party would find
unusual for the alfar has always been overly fond of animals,
spending much of his time with them. With his concern for
their well-being it isn't long before he speaks with those who
           have bonded to them.

"The road ahead is fraught with peril. If it pleases...

(This is offered to Will for his wolf and, if it's reasonable,
to Kell for Squirt. It would be offered for Corona but I can't
           imagine armoring an eagle:)

Over the next three days Arawn would be glimpsed flitting about
town on one errand or another. Having purchased Kiet's horses
he presented them to Fremea to be taken care of and be of use
at her newly founded orphanage. He also saw to it that his own
steed would be cared for, bringing it to Ben'dar's ranch as he
knew the barbarian would see to it with loving care.

Although he would disappear for periods of time he would
return by late afternoon to sit with Fremea and Kell, sharing
with them the stories and traditions of the Sidh, educating
           them in proper druidic manner.
         GM: Ack.

         From Kiet: [Re: Actions]
           >> Kiet thinks about the teleport for a moment, especially
as it sounds like no horses will be going. "Um...if ...
         GM: Ack.

         From Kell: [Re: Actions]
Ha'Kell listens to his friend whining. Thinking about
calling him a little girl, the half-elf decides better to
not call him that, even teasing. Instead he says "Pack
lightly. Whilst we are starting on...
         GM: Ack.

         From Fremea: [Re: Actions]
Fremea over hears Kiet whine. "If you really need to...
         GM: Ack.

         From Kiet: [Re: Actions]
Kiet has a question: "Um...does the person...
         GM: Ack.

      [New Stuff]

          [Sepes 24th, 1634TH]
[Location: Sivas, Marentia - Cholan's Tavern]
          [Time: late afternoon-early evening - 5pm-]

Arawn approaches Kell, Z'leyra and Will. The Alfar has
been trying to spend time to get to know the wolf but
the wolf is a bit aloof. Maybe in the next few days he
can get together but that would mean he would need to
visit Z'leyra's manor. He knows Z'leyra can craft just
about anything. He looks to Squirt the little thing might
not be able to wear much but something very light and
          giving him quick agility.

"The road ahead is fraught with peril. If it pleases you I
would offer my services to purchase or craft armor for your
          companion."

Kiet realizes that the horses will not be taken. He
tries to calculate the expenses for renting horses but he
does not know how long it would be and math hurts unless
its on how many fingernails to remove from a prisoner. At
least Donara has a good highway system so travel should be
          fast.

Kiet thinks about the teleport for a moment, especially
as it sounds like no horses will be going. "Um...if we can't
bring our horses on the teleport, how are we and our gear
going to get picked up?" Kiet is a bit annoyed as he spent
so much time in the saddle preparing for a future adventure
since they all arrived from Katai. Sometimes painful time...

Ha'Kell listens to his friend whining. Thinking about calling
him a little girl, the half-elf decides better to not call him
that, even teasing. Instead he says, "Pack lightly. Whilst we
are starting on land, we are following a pirate and they tend
to be on the water." Winking at the other elder mage.

The silence is broken by the sound that is like a violin.
The party looks to Raban who is tuning up his mandolin. "Oh
sorry. Was tuning up." He turns and winks at Kell then turns
back to Kiet. "Just fly. Oh wait you can't? Walking is good
          for you as well."

Fremea over hears Kiet whine. "If you really need to bring
your own horse, then make sure our teleportor knows it." She
just shakes her head and smiles at the silly human.

From the balcony above the party the very spot the Climan
assassin tried to kill Unali, Kaylle looks down at the party
below. The open inside balcony looks right down at the center
table and the stage. The scholar shakes his head. After
inspecting the paintings on this floor he listens to them
talking. The call for truth and wisdom. He stares at the
one person who if revealed the truth about themselves they
would probably risk their life in doing so. He is unsure
how this person could even be here among them. He glances
to others and realizes they also have secrets. Secrets can
be good to know but dangerous to reveal.

Kaylle decides to hover down to the ground floor and
approach Fremea with a smile. "I shall see you soon. I
must head to ensure the library is closed up." He bows
          and then leaves the tavern.

Kiet watches the scholar leave humming some song. That
one is a weird guy. Tear off a wing and he'll scream
like a bird. Kiet shakes the thought away as most of
those trained as a executioner may think of the weak
points of a person. Shaken to reality he turns to the
          others.

Kiet has a question, "Um...does the person performing
the teleport have a good knowledge of where we are going?
If not, maybe they should go on ahead and develop that
knowledge then return and do so before they drag the rest of
us along...I don't feel comfortable materializing in a rock or
          a wall."

Fremea has asked about Chion but for the past 6 or so weeks
he been busy on the plains. He is getting used as a honorary
adopted Zen'da Shaman son. She turns to Arawn and figures
he will have to teleport the group. But she knows that Will
and Z'leyra have those spells as well.

                                 --------------

          [Sepes 25th - 27th, 1634TH]
          [Location: Sivas, Marentia]

Raban spends the next three days going from tavern to tavern.
Like most Bards he does not have a manager as they work alone
and prefer it that way. Unlike entertainers like actors who
do have managers Bards have to get their own gigs. Most have
to spend years building reputation. By sheer size and height
Raban has his already. Not including his great looks and
manly physique. He doesn't tell Fremea he had gigs lined up
for the next 3 months. But she is more important and if he
needs help he will be there. Most taverns are cordial and
accept his regrets and will allow him to play later. To help
out Raban sends words through the Bard network on these
openings so they can be filled by others. This makes the
tavern owners happy. On the third day he finds himself in
a lower class area. He was asked to sign in a local tavern
by a daughter of a "friend." The Countess did want the favor
done so Raban said yes. But he was surprised to find this
run down place. When he tells the owner he can't make it
the man get irate and orders his bouncers to move in. One
bashes a chair against the giant's back breaking the chair
into a million pieces but Raban just flinches a bit. The
second tries to rush the giant with a carrying tray but
this is when Raban stands up. Raban reaches up to yank down
the iron candle chandelier from the roof pulling a bit of
the ceiling with it. He shoves the chair basher toward the
tray basher and encircles them with the chandelier. The
circular chandelier is then crushed under Raban's sheer
strength into a tighter circle trapping the two inside
the circle of iron. The twisted metal traps the two men
as Raban reaches down to grab the tray. Raban walks over
just as the two men are trying to free themselves. "Light's
out." He then blows out the two still lit candles in the
chandelier and bashes the tray down onto the men's skulls
          knocking them out.

Raban then turns and sips the rest of his ale. The
owner had a piece of wood in his hand but drops it. He
begins to back away saying that no need to sing. He rushes
to his bar and begins some busy work. Raban leaves and makes
a note to come back to this place.

Raban also does some shopping. On third day he visits the
tailor to see if his winter coat is finished. Every year
he has to buy a new set as he tends to use them to rags. This
vest and leather jacket will do nicely. The man tries to talk
him into a hat but Raban refuses as it would just hide his
looks and after all he is not a half-elf. With a confused
look on the tailor Raban leaves the shop.

Raban walks the city and looks at the city houses as the others
stare at him. Maybe one day he'll buy a home but Bards are
nomadic. It is rare for a Bard to stay in a nation for more
than a few months. He was in Donara and now he is here. Now
he is going back to Donara. Maybe that is a sign on its own.
He wonders if that girl is there. Wonders what would happen
if she sees him? As long as they don't go to that city the
chances are good she won't be around.

Raban's anger boils as he considers Fremea's slavery. The
others want a slow painful death. One hit and the slaver is
dead so he'll try to pull back a bit on his strength.

For the nobles he signed deals he visits their places or
sends messengers to inform them. But since he has free time
on Sepes 26 and 27th he does perform at two estates in the
north side of town. The gig on the 27th was at a widow's
estate - why is it is always rich single widows that seem
to hire him? At this gig he notices a man glaring at him for
some time. He learns later that this man is from Maren he
is the second in command to the Chief Healer the Majesty's
Private Healer. He doesn't investigate as he cares less about
the ugly guy. He is happy to make some folks happy for the
night even if the ugly healer is not so happy.

That night in bed Raban cuddles with widow after some love
exercises. She explains that the man was upset that some
healers are not paying taxes as they should and the city tax
collector is upset about that. Seems some healer Raban knows
did some school but not their dues. Raban shrugs it off. Even
gangs aren't this obvious. So called nobles are acting shameful
by wanting their cut or they will complain to the King. Raban
ignores the comments and gives the massage to help her back and
chest pains. The bard is happy to be sleeping in a nice warm
bed as soon it might be shabby tavern beds if not the ground.

The three days seem to blur by for Kell. It is like home
back in his element in the markets. Kell soon learns that
there are only 3 galleries in Sivas. There are probably twice
that many in Maren but it is a bit far away for a quick ride.
He spends time talking to the dealers at the art galleries
for info on the painting and the slip given by Fremea. He
tries to make nice by looking at the art but who cares about
a rose with a lizard on it or a picture of a gold vase in
pieces as if broken? This is art?

Back in the open markets he is home. He quietly tries to
ask about Ozon the Thief and Etain. He even has to pay some
          info brokers for the info.

While in the markets he buys a few minor supplies including
          some containers and leather.

The first morning after the pre-wedding party, Kell finds his
ebony shield and casts some more magic. But first he travels
to find Kiet at Z'leyra's place and to do work on his own
shield. There he purifies a ground of grass near the manor
but slightly away of it. The first spell fails as he can
detect this with his senses. But the second works fine.
He then improves the protection spell upon the shield a bit
          better for each shield.

Will spends his three days checking on his gear, including
the new armor he got from Z'leyra. He asks Raban to help
to teach him more on the Bowyer skill for the three days.
He had wanted to make some new knives but it would take a bit
          more time than possible.

Kiet with some help from Ben'dar gets a better riding horse
after selling his old one. After selling the draft horses
to Arawn he now needs a new horse to carry more load. Kiet
spends the three days in the markets looking at herb and
plant shops. On the second day his mouth drools when he spots
          a item he finds interesting.

Unali spends the three days at her new house. She pays
her housekeeper expenses for a few months. She stables
her horses at various places and safekeeping. She does
some extra minor training on the side as well.

Unali asks Kell on good trustworthy money lenders so
she can bank her gold. Kell recommends a few though he
only knows their reputations on the street even though
his expertise is in Ba'ru. Kell banks a large portion
of her gold for safekeeping. Lucky for her she is not
          robbed by bandits.

At her manor Z'leyra spends the day preparing the manor
for a long journey. She will need to shut down healing
operations and send word she is closed to the streets.
She pays the housekeeper expenses for a few months.

Damaged from the weeks since Katai, Z'leyra repairs
her armor to full. It takes two days and a bit of the
third day. She had hoped to work on new sling projectiles
          but there is no time.

Fremea spends the three days at her hotel converted
orphanage. Thanks to Arawn and Kiet the group now has
two draft horses. The kids can learn to ride and travel
a bit if needed. It is an added expense but the kids
are resourceful. She gives Adis the 17 year old boy as
leader as the oldest. If this was a state run orphanage
he might have been kicked out by now to the streets.
She commands the kids not to do things like drugs or
sell their bodies. The kids seem to circle her as they
seem to believe she is doing them good. She explains she
is on her own quest to find her parents. Troyis, the
8 year girl who lost her parents to fire and had to live
on the streets gives her a gift. It is a simple rag doll
made from straw and buttons. The girl explains it is a
good luck thing. It helped her to avoid the bad guys on
the street thanks to her friends. Fremea is touched by
the simple gift so much so she takes it. Clearly the girl
does not want no for an answer. Fremea won't take the
doll but she can store it. Touched she finds a real doll
in a shop and pays for it to give to the girl. As a
reward the girl gives Fremea a huge Raban like hug.

On the roof of the converted tavern Fremea watches
the stars. Considering her past and the future. On the
third morning she is awoken by nightmares. Sweating and
shaking she is confused by them. She has not had these
kind of nightmares since she was a slave. She is not sure
if this is something like worry or frustration the mind
playing tricks. But the nightmares fade from memory as
quickly as she wakes. The one image she can recall is
a large army of Sidh on a field marching toward a human
army. Kaylle has told of such battles and figures this
to be some image of those things. But is it?

Fremea spends her free time doing some shopping to
buy new clothing and winter items. Around the library
Kaylle walks in the open with no disguise. Fremea
has even done this once or twice. The stares are
starting to be tolerated. But here even a Faerry might
be considered a demon but at least not killed on sight.
She thanks Kaylle for breaking that ceiling in the city.
As she walks the markets, something a faerry finds awkward
walking not flying, she knows in Donara a disguise will be
needed. If the Don had not invaded the Forest and created
a huge rift the Faerry might be tolerated there as well.

Arawn tries to spend the days preparing for the task to
come. He knows Sidh vs Sidh is bad enough. But who is the
good and who is the bad here? Elves? Faerries? Something
does not smell right and it isn't the fish markets. A piece
of the puzzle is still missing. Arawn tried to speak with
Fremea and Kell on the Sidh traditions over the three days
but both are rather busy and so it is only a quick story or
          two at most.

Arawn spends a bit of time castings some spells. He also
prepares his gear to take and keep at home. He buys some
winter clothing and a bit of wine for the future.

The Druid tries to spend the days after the party in
the surrounding woods and nature. He tries to pray to
his parents and others. But there is a odd silence to the
whole affair. Even the animals seem to ignore him as if
they are not worthy or willing to cross the line. Maybe
the in fighting of the gods are more intense than he thought.

          [Time: Just after sunrise]

IT is now the day of the travel to Donara. The appointed
time and place. The party gathers again at Cholan's tavern.
Those who notice Fremea drinking hot tea and eating warm
biscuits show that she looks more haggard as if been on
          a marathon flight for hours.

Some of the party have bags of gear ready for the trip.
Some have shiny new warm looking clothing as well as bright
          clean weapons gleaming.

The table is a buzz of chit-chat and excitement. A
new mission and a new season. The cold chill seems to
bring in a air of change or maybe a omen to the future.

As Cholan is serving fresh soup a man enters the tavern.
Z'leyra and Unali nod smiling. The man in sailor clothing
and a colorful blue vest and tan pants walks to the table.
"Damon!" Cholan grasps the man's arm.

After some introductions are made as Damon the Captain
Sailor is not known by everyone the sailor nods to Fremea
          and the others. "

"I was asked to research a couple of pirates. I have
no idea why but it is not my place to ask. I can not
stay long as I have a cargo full on my ship going to
          Maren from Cholchara.

Marul Tresh is a known Salaqi Captain in his 40s. He is
a tall pirate at 6' 6 and around 250 pounds so a big man.
They say he was born as a seaman. I've heard some speak
of him as a odd guy that likes plants, ranching and
agriculture. Yet he is a skilled seaman. He is the most
famous Nerid pirate." He turns to Z'leyra. "He even
went to Ticasi to learn a bit." Turning back to the
others. "He was almost killed for murdering a Donaran
Count but was saved by the Salaqi. At the hands of
the executioners he learned to hate Donarans as a group.
One thing the public does not know is that unlike most
pirates he has a family with kids in Salaqara.

The other pirate Simeon Bitte is a Donaran pirate in
his early 30s. He is even taller than the other
pirate at 6' feet 7. They say in quiet circles he
is a scholar who likes history of magic and demons. His
mother was a wine merchant who tried to move the business
but was attacked by bandits. She was forced to be
their plaything. When she became with child she escaped
but became indentured. But after being with the bandits
for three months as a plaything she was safe. After some
time with Simeon as a baby she escaped to Donara. Simeon
saw Donara at Fortress Mordara at 6 when his own mother
fled and left him on the streets. Years later he finds
himself under the master of Salin in Pelara some believe."

"I hope this information is good?" He takes some biscuits
and a mug. "But I must be going now I have a schedule to
          keep. Good journey."

As Cholan gets behind the bar to clean for the morning
crowd when he opens up a man enters the tavern. He is
dressed in the Sivas messenger service. He goes over
and then they whisper. The men is pointed to Fremea by
          Cholan. "Freemya?"

Fremea shivers at the slur but the poor lad is probably
given little info to work with. The Fae nods. "I have
a package." HE opens his bag and some go to weapons by
instinct just in case. He pulls out a wooden box. Then
places it in front of her. The lad stands there and looks
around now realizing the odd group before him. Why is
this one with wings? Raban tosses him a coin and the
man catches it and then nods. He hurries out of the
          tavern.

Fremea inspects the box but finds no obvious danger
or magic. She gently opens it and finds a small
talisman inside and a scroll. She reads it and the pulls
the talisman out. She nods and then taps the talisman
three times then once. The talisman begins to glow
slightly and then a small illusion of a man appears. The
party instantly recognizes him as the High Elder. He is
standing a foot tall above the table. But his back is
turned to Fremea. She smiles and turns the talisman around
          so he is facing her.

"Fremea. Greetings. Hello to everyone else who may
be around. I hope all is well. As one gift I would try
to find info on your parents. Sadly, I did not find much.
We are a bit isolated as you may know. But a week after
you left here after your successful Katai mission the
Diviner approached me. She tells me they are 'around'
but could not give me details if they are alive or not.
She is always cryptic. She says your quest in Donara
should reveal answers and create questions. You are on
the right track. She did say that..." The old wizard
grabs a scroll to read. "The halves who create the
whole will complete the circle. The pieces will be
pressured to reveal the truth. " He looks up from
the scroll shaking his head. "Who knows what that
all means. I will say that I do have a contact north
of Salaqara. He is a retired smuggler who has helped
me in the past to obtain...things. His name Is Niv
Salis. He is about 4 miles north of the city in a small
home." The illusion changes to reveal a overhead map
of the area showing plains and light woods. The image
as if seen by a bird closes in on a decent sized home.
A barn and a grain silo is seen which are probably 2
stories tall. "You could teleport right to this spot
on the silo it is solid and you can climb down. Would
this be useful? He might be upset you suddenly appearing
but if you use the phrase. 'The book worm collects the
gems.' it might give him meaning. I am sorry I could not
give more info. I hope this has arrived in time as I had
to ship it down by the Zen'da river merchants. Good luck."

The illusion fades and then Fremea looks at the scroll
a small map of the area. Based on it the home is about
22 miles north of the short and 4 or so miles north of
          the city.

The party stares at Fremea for a few long silent
moments. The quiet is broken by Cholan clearing his throat.
"I forgot. Balrog dropped by late last night. he told me
about Ozon the Thief. All he could learn about him is that
his base of operations is in Samma city. They say he liked
to gamble and can likely be found in such joints. The
Thief Guild knows little of him as if he is a new one
on the scene or one that is now just wanting to be public."

          Next Update....Friday...

GM: A lot of stuff behind scenes for this update so it took
a while. This is a small update but it was much more
hours of work than what you see here. Who would've
thought 3 days would've been that hard. It is now 2:30
am and just came up with some of that riddle stuff.
Tobie I have some info to email you. I am out of time
tonight so expect it tomorrow or I'll just chat with
              you live on it.

GM: Some have asked about magic. I will be soon working
on a house rule/info sheet. The aspect of MDV aids
or Protection items will be covered as well what is
Always On or inactive. There is no black/white line
for this rule so its very difficult to figure out
unless its a case by case basis. So I will try to
cover this in a later post.

GM: As the game continues I'm always open for contact.
Most of it is in email and that's fine. But if you
want live responses I'm there as well. My contact
file on the website includes that info like live
chat via Trillian. Trillian can handle 16 or so
various things from AOL, Facebook, Yahoo and many
other chat software. I did forget to mention Skype
is also possible. So I included skype in the file.
Heck play Diablo 3 with me, Alex and Tobie and can
              even chat that way. :)

GM: The three days some stuff was very basic so not
much covered above. Some secret stuff not posted
here or handled in generic terms.

GM: I got info on the 3 days from everyone. But I did
not get gear info from all. So for those who did
not post it then I will assume all your gear is
taken. To be fair I'll allow you to edit that
for a bit. But once the first combat happens
then that will be void since critical choices of
gear may be needed. Didn't bring your bow oh well.
