Arawn looked at the suffering man with compassion and pain in his eyes, the agony terrible, a portion of it gripping the alfar's heart. In that moment the man wasn't a Peace Brigader. He was just a simple man in pain, waiting to die.
As he sought to offer what little comfort he could he spoke to the others in Marentian.
"He should be dead. Even if I try to save him I don't know that he'll live once free from the insects," he said solemnly.
He looked to Will and Farseeker.
"It seems best to end his suffering. And then the insects will need to be dealt with before they spread."
