          Unali takes a step back from the heat, taking care not to be
          scorched again. She looks towards the collapsed cabin, trying
          to figure out what the red hair was she saw. Was it someone
          inside, like Z'leyra, or was it something in the wall?

          As she sees Z'leyra drift by, she will know she is safe at
          least. She will ask her: "Anyone left inside that needs
          rescue?"

          OC: I thought the dwarves believe the kegs are the munchies.
        GM: Ack.  Well the Dwarves like anything in Kegs.  As long
            as its edible or drinkable.  But never give them Kool-Aid
            or they'll NEVER leave your house.

         GM: Congratulations! The easy combat is over!  Now for

              GM: If Ben'dar hadn't charged would've used petrify to freeze
                  some of the attackers.  But since he did she changed
                  to a time stop spell and then hurt him.  But when it
                  backfired was desperate in her own wounds to take out
                  many with her thus the Fire Showers spell.  She was
                  near death herself.

           B. Redhead in Cabin - Killed by Strie'bog

              GM: She's the one that had the gems (see treasure).  She
                  stole them.  She was more a reactionary person letting
                  her seeking death spells do her dirty work.  When
                  she saw the party she begun to burn papers in the
                  work room.  Caught with no spells to escape she had
                  no choice but to try a hostage situation.  When she
                  spoke the word to invoke the Heat spell she knew
                  she only had a minute or two.  But she was desperate.
                  When the party backed down she didn't send the word
                  to have the spider kill the Green Lady but would
                  have if she wasn't stabbed in the neck by Strie'bog.

           C. Female in main room with Bow - Killed by Z'leyra
              Age: 21  Height: 60"   Weight: 108 MEL: 9

              Skills: Assassin, Hand-to-Hand, Longbow, War Staff, Tracking
              Friend: Snake - Killed by Z'leyra
              Spells: Fog of Death 5, Time Travel 4, Thunderhead 6,

              GM: When the crow warned the enemy of the party she
                  went briefly in time to view the combat to get an
                  edge on the party.  Then went back in time.  She
                  learned where the party would move and some
                  aspects of that.  She then had the 3 men in the
                  other bedroom move out and then into the work
                  room to wait as that was where the hostage (mom) was.
                  Expecting them to enter the main room she then
                  cast Fog of Death (which killed the deer and eagle).
                  But being insubstantial it didn't affect anything.
                  That aspect she mis-timed or mis-calcualted.  Since
                  she wasn't affected by the spell (various reasons)
                  she could then freely fire her bow at the party.
                  But gain the Insubstantial helped.  

           D. Arch Leader Bodyguard - Killed by Arawn 
              Age: 26  Height: 68"   Weight: 190 MEL: -

              Skills: Assassin, Dagger, Hand-to-Hand, Short Sword, Sword

              GM: This barbarian was bodyguard to E below.  Thought
                  when they split up he wasn't too effective.  He
                  suffered from Battle Fury.  When he heard Arawn
                  in the bedroom he went that way sent by the female
                  who saw the future.  He had no choice but to flee
                  when he was wounded and blind by the Darkness.  The
                  mystery later is why this man is wearing what seems
                  to be a Katai style military uniform that Unali
                  seems to recognize?

           D. Arch Leader - Oblivion by Z'leyra
              Age: 24  Height: 83"   Weight: 224 MEL: ?

              Skills: ? Bow at least. 

              GM: Since this one is still technically alive in the
                  Oblivion spell no more information given here.

          GM: Now back to the game...
    
          [As the dust settles in the cabin a seemingly quiet chaos
           and panic ensues around the cabin as triage is setup
           for the wounded.  Z'leyra directs the triage while
           insubstantial till it finally ends a few minutes later.

           Arawn thinks of the events and had hoped for a better
           ending.  A negotiation to take place with the redhead.
           This party seems to take to such characters well.  After
           all Jordi was a diplomat.  Now Arawn joins the party
           taking up that slack.  But Arawn doesn't blame Strie'bog
           for the murder.  If Arawn was in the same position he
           might have done the same thing.  What would have happened
           if he had stayed in the bedroom?  Certainly he might not
           know of the situation the female's workshop.  If that
           was the case he might not know to sense for magic and
           find the location, though it seems the wolf and Strie'bog
           figured it out at the same time.  But he shivers as he
           thinks of the spider.  If he wasn't there no one else had
           a plan in place other than Z'leyra and it failed.  That
           might have meant the spider once free of the Time Stop
           spell would've easily bite her and killed her once teleported
           away.  A thought he doesn't like to consider.  Fate seems
           to help again.  If fate hadn't bought him to the Middle
           World what then would have gone on?  Arawn walks from place
           to place checking wounds for level of criticalness.

           Once outside Chion kneels to check Strie'bog's mother.
           He finds a pulse and alive.  He stands to look around
           just as the cabin ends its shake and rattle death roll.
           He wonders who else is inside.  He also considers the
           events that just took place.  While he was not one to
           openly fight rather than just hang around, literally,
           in the air he observed.  Once he floated into the workshop
           he figured out the wolf found something important.  Once
           Strie'bov moved there it was sure to be important.  He
           wonders what would've happened if he didn't cast Time
           Stop?  Surely the spider would've bit her well before
           the final planks were pulled up.  By then it would've
           been too late.  Once things settle down and he explores
           the cabin again he also knows the logs that fell into
           the hole would've surely killed her if the spell wasn't
           in place as well.  

           Farseeker drops his bloody great sword to the dirt
           not wanting to sheath it till its cleaned.  he runs
           to help others who may need it.  At one point he
           passes Strie'bog going to his mother.  He attempts to
           speak to him but Strie'bog moves fast aside.  So instead
           Farseeker takes a break from Triage and goes to cover
           up the headless body and head of the one fighter he killed.
           He uses a horse blanket on one of the horses.  It would
           not be good for his mother to see such a sight.  You know
           how females are he thinks to himself.  He thinks past
           to the last couple months.  In that time he has taken
           two heads without wanting to be.  He knows he is strong
           but must hon his skill to do less severe attacks.

           Thig having teleported Ben'dar out hopes Ben'dar is ok.
           He did save Thig's life very likely.  All this while
           Thig never got to know the burly barbarian well.  Maybe
           that can be solved.  He rolls Ben'dar over gently and
           checks his pulse.  He sighs when he finds no pulse.
           He yells for Z'leyra to come quick but she is not solid
           and knows time might be critical.  He prepares for
           a healing spell but checks his pulse again.  He finds
           a faint pulse.  Ben'dar is alive but unconscious.
           Z'leyra directs Thig on how to bandage his leg and
           chest wound to prevent further blood loss which would
           surely kill him in a few minutes.

           Ben'dar dreams of riding on the plains in a warm summer
           day for what seems like hours as the sun moves from
           point to point in opposite sides of the sky.  As the
           dream continues he rides into a village, his home village.
           There he finds females and warriors surround him and
           bring him food and fawn over him.  One warrior comes
           forward with a stranger.  The warrior introduces Ben'dar
           as "Ga'sha Ben'dar".  A chief?  Then suddenly Ben'dar
           wakes to piercing light as he wakes to find himself outside
           the cabin.  He tries to sit up but still finds himself in
           some pain.  He notices folks running back and forth.
           He sighs as he knows he is alive but it was close.  He
           then wonders how Tef'wo is?

           Trembyl helps others with Triage in the first critical
           minutes after the combat.  He is quiet as he feels
           useless in this encounter.  But he is happy it all
           worked out well in the end.

           Unali sees the wall collapse where she was just standing
           seconds before.  The red hair was seen as the logs moved
           and a redheaded female was seen with a nasty neck wound.
           As the dust settles she holds her dagger in case there
           is further danger.  She feels the heat subside from the
           cabin itself.  As Z'leyra floats by she speaks to her.]

           Unali: "Anyone left inside that needs rescue?"

          [Z'leyra answers to the negative in that she doesn't
           know for certain.  Thig, Ben'dar and Arawn was the
           last ones inside as far as she knows.  But when Arawn
           exits the north wall that leaves Thig and Ben'dar.
           Unali moves toward the wall but then hears Thig yell
           for Z'leyra about Ben'dar.  So that means no one
           should be inside at this point.  As she goes to confirm
           that around the side of the cabin she disregards the
           mound of dirt by the shovel.  Later she will find it
           must've been simply the mound of dirt placed there as
           the hole was dug under the cabin.  So she was only
           digging in a mound of dirt.  There seems to have been
           no basement at all and Thig confirms with his mind
           spell that no other minds were found.  As she
           helps the others with the wounded, herself includes,
           she recalls the combat.  She is surprised to be surprised
           by a foot man while on her horse.  A trick that she will
           learn from in the future.  The dagger didn't warn her
           that time for some reason.

           Xian runs to the north side of the cabin to help the wounded.
           He also remains quiet feeling helpless in this encounter.
           Sure he healed Ben'dar but that's about it.  He wonders
           if he should learn more skills from Farseeker?

           Z'leyra releases the wolf from her insubstantial spell.
           As he begins to move, broken from Chion's time spell,
           it is clearly hurt.  It floats to the ground still
           levitated until Z'leyra leaves the area.  Limping the
           wolf runs to Strie'bog's mother.  Z'leyra becomes
           a virtual supervisor as she directs the wounded and
           ensures no one seems to be in critical shape.  The worst
           off seems to have been Ben'dar who was only knocked
           out and luckily not overly critical as long as the
           blood loss was stopped.  When she becomes solid again
           she helps the wounded with initial bandage settings.

           Strie'bog leaves Farseeker when he teleports outside
           immediately.  He actually forgets to even check on
           if he is okay or not.  Emotion gets the better of him
           again as he runs to find Chion on the west side of the
           cabin and his mother.  He is happy to see no spider
           with her.  Chion smiles as he comes close and Strie'bog
           still checks her out to find a pulse.  She is safe
           but Thig mentioned something about a sleep spell?  She
           will have to be broken from the spell before she can
           wake up it seems.  

          Actions? Comments?

          Next update Friday..

          GM: This is part 2.  I'll work on another update Thursday
              night around 9pm if I have enough actions.  If not
              it'll be a small update :).  But being a holiday week
              here in the USA I won't expect anything if folks are
              busy or such.

          GM: Treasure - Claims?

              Wounds - Who heals who? If a particular person wants to
                 be healed by a particular person PLEASE say so.
                 Arawn, Chion, Xian and Thig can get experience
                 healing as well if they want to.  But if no one
                 speaks up then I'll assume Z'leyra will heal folks.
                 She will likely need to heal those with Moderate
                 to Heavy wounds at the least.  So let me know if
                 you want to heal yourself or have someone in particular
                 do it for you.  Ben'dar you have 1 healing this
                 day so you need to say if you risk another one.

              Mother - Who wants to break the sleep spell?  Chion
                 and Strie'bog would be the first there so they
                 would have the first chances.  But let me know.
                 See Mana status up above though.
