     Admin notes: Hope you guys aren't depending on the map in the
     email/list.  That map is junked.  View the website for the
     best version.  Coruse if your font is done certain ways it
     will also mess up.  I assume everyone can read the map fine :)

          Z'leyra knows that the enemy mage must be quickly dealt
          with, so she runs south down col. 31.
          (As she runs she calculates how long her Invisibility will
          last and will renew it when necessary).

     [New Stuff]

        Octaqi 21, in the 163rd Year [TH]
        [Meanwhile somewhere on the plains]
         [Day 51 of Trip] [Near Enemy camp]
         Time: Roughly 2:05am

     Turn 2 - Phase 1

        [Mana Allocation]

           [Chion allocates final mana for a spell.]

        [Missile Fire]

           [Thig aims at Bowmen #18 near the campfire and fires
            his last dart. The dart hits the ground and misses
            though.]

           [Bowmen #16 fires his bow at Ben'dar but the arrow
            flies past and misses.]

           [Bowmen #18 has no target to fire on.]

           [Bowmen #19 has no target though Lodd is almost a good
            one to fire at.]

           [Bowmen #26 has no target.]

           [Strie'bog loads his bow but has one target.  But could
            hit Lodd.  He prepares to move for a better angle.]
           GM: After movement later you should be in better spot.

        [Magic Effect]

           [The man at 21,22 taps his drum and chants a few words.
            He looks and points at Ben'dar 20 feet to the north
            but nothing happens to Ben'dar. ]

           [Zen'da #S2 at he south end of the campfire turns his
            horse slightly to face south-east.  He reaches into
            his leather vest and chants a few words.]

           [Suddenly Chion, the short man on the horse, Unali
            and the other Zen'da are surprised to see the
            blankets over the sleeping villagers suddenly stir.
            Groans are heard among the sleeping villagers.
            Unali and Chion guess quickly they are waking?]

           [The Wizard #WZ (clearly a wizard now) in the middle
            of the sleeing villagers casts a spell at Chion and
            points but nothing happens due to his magic defense.]

           [Chion casts his Transport spell.  He braces his
            feet left foot forward a foot and back foot back
            a foot for balance.  Suddenly the ground seems ot
            liquifiy in a 3 feet diameter around him.  It
            begins to shake and rumble.  He pulls his staff
            off the ground and grins ready for the spell.
            The ground 2.5 feet in front and 2.5 feet behind him
            liquify and it spreads out a yard (3 feet) to each
            side of him.  With a jolt the ground begins to move.
            He also feels warm as a amulet he is wearing begins
            to shine ever so slightly.  the plan works well for
            about 14 feet.  But the problem is the four man tent
            is in the way.  A column of villagers are moved northward.
            The first villagers at 23,24 is pushed north by the
            column of villagers.  He moves six feet rolling along
            northward.   The man #S1 (21,22) is surprised to see
            the villager move twoard him.  But the villager hits
            the horse at 20,23 hard.  The horse bucks and his
            legs come down on the elderly man.  The ground at
            the same time liquifies the stake holding the 3 horses
            and the ropes are loose.  Panicked the horses flee.
            The horse at 18,23 flees westward.  He slams into the
            bowmen at 19,19 and continues westward past the other
            rider.  The horse flees off the map.  The horse at 19,23
            flees due north.  It runs right next to caladan and
            through the tents.  It ends up 8 feet west of Praelux
            and Z'leyra. The other horse the villager hits goes
            due north about 20 feet and ends up behind Ben'dar
            near Farseeker. The first five villagers are swept north
            20 feet.  But the next 5 begin to hit the west side of
            the four man tent at 24,26.  The first person to hit
            takes 6 points of damage.  The others take bits of
            damage as well.  The push of bodies moves them past
            the Western point of the tent and north.  That is
            tot eh left of Chion.  To the right its worse.
            the 7 villagers move north heads laying west.  All 7
            though clump up and collide at the south end of the
            Tent.  The first person takes serious damage from being
            thrown up against the tent and the other 6 clumping
            up on the little girl.  The Tent having took only a bit
            of the wave moves slightly but stays in place this phase.
            All this happens the same time.  Chion moves north
            as well 16 feet.  He barely misses bodies 2 feet away
            to his right hitting the Tipi.  But another 2 feet
            and the tent looms in front.  Suddenly he sees he is
            going to hit another 2 feet bam!  He does.  He hits
            the tent at 24,26.  Chion impacts against the tent
            canvas hard and takes 2 points of damage.  He is thrown
            off the moving wave of earth and into the 8 foot wide
            tent.  He slides down a bit but the tent seems to stay
            in place.]
           GM: There are 7 people (PPP = 1 person) in rows 26,27
             directly south of the tent clumped up.  Some of
             the villagers are hurt from this.  They could wake
             up but are in chaos now. I'm using the version 2
             version of the spell (BMC 5, etc.).  Chion your
             off the wave (failed agility roll).  the wave of
             villagers will continue northward though.  This
             may not be exactly as planned but it may work
             out in that you can react next phase for melee.
             Sorry if its not to plan but i used the rules outlined
             in the Example for the transport spell :)

        [Melee & Movement]

            [Corona flies down looking at the chaos below.  He looks
             for more eagles to fight against Thig but finds none.
             He starts to climb again.]

            [Two dogs at 6,5 & 6,3 stay put waiting for orders.
             One Dog III leaps at Kasha but fails to strike
             again.  The dog at 21,30 bgins to bark at the moving
             villagers in Chion's spell.]

            [The dog at 9,13 stays puts but watches the Big
             Warrior.  The dog at 9,18 was tapped by the Big
             warrior when he moved toward Farseeker.  This directed
             the dog to an order.  The dog watched the warrior move.
             When the warrior attacked Farseeker he also nodded
             at Caladan which was the order.  The dog lunges straight
             for Caladan who is vulnerable paralyzed.  The dog bites
             Caladan on his arm and does 7 points of bite damage.
             Caladan tries to scream but his throat can't get it out.
             He is defenseless.  the 3rd Dog I in the corral looks
             around for any enemy and tries to guide the horses to
             stay in the corral.]
                
            [Farseeker thrusts his great sword at the big warrior
             and hits for 7 points of damage.  A blow that would
             normally likely take down most enemy.  He looks
             at Caladan sad he can't help right now.  He knows if
             he helps him he'll be attacked by the Big Warrior which
             is what he wants.]

            [Unali swings both daggers at the short man. Having
             ducked to swipe at unali his head is lower.  One dagger
             fails to hit but the other does.  He takes 5 more
             points of subdual damage but fails to knock him out
             at this point.  But the short man is dazed.]
            GM: Want to take one dagger as defense against the
             rider and the other man next to you?

            [Ben'dar swings his pike at Zen'da #29 but fails to
             hit the man.  He is surprised to see a few feet
             away is a villager?]

            [The big Warrior swings his mace at Farseeker but
             fails to strike.]

            [The short man swings his scimitar in desperation at
             Unali.  The blade hits her in the shoulder and does
             2 points past her chainmail - a minor nick.  Clearly
             this man isn't a fighter but is desperate to live.]
            GM: Unali if you switch to kill mode the combat might
              be over faster doing subdual will take a bit longer
              only due to pin-point targeting.

            [Balrog having won his battle with the dagger against
             #7 stands.  He grabs his short sword.  He looks west
             and sees Kasha and Lodd fighting.  He looks over his
             shoulder and sees Farseeker.  But more importantly
             he sees Caladan being eaten by a dog.  Without thinking
             he turns and charges the dog.  He thrusts but fails
             to hit the fast dog.]

            [Caladan tries to move his finger...anything...in pain
             he sees a shadow near him as the dog turns..could
             that be help?]

            [Z'leyra leaves Praelux and heads SE around the Tipi.
             She moves south.  She spots Caladan and Farseeker
             but continues southward.]
            GM: Still invisible for another 3 turns or so if i recall.

            [Rider #14 remains in place.]

            [Jordi thrusts at rider #9 and hits finally doing 6
             points of damage to the rider.]

            [Kasha turns around and swings his mace at the Dog III
             who leapt at him.  The mace hits the dog in the
             neck and kills him.  Kasha didn't meant ot hit so
             hard but the magical mace is powerful.  he didn't mean
             to kill the dog. He likes dogs.  He misses his old
             dog at home...]

            [Cetric invisible creeps up to #6 and thrusts his spear
             at him in the back.  The spear impales and does 7
             points of damage.  But the man still stands.]

            [Strie'bog moves SW past the tents and ends up near
             some good targets for his bow and spells.]
            GM: You now have good bow targets toward the south
              campfire folks and west toward like #14.  You
              can pick a target for next phase.  If you didn't
              want to move there let me know you still had some
              movement left.  BTW rider #5 is only 5 feet away
              on a horse.  Easy target?

            Zen'da #29 swings his scimitar at Ben'dar.  his
             magical pike helps to make enemy attacks rougher.
             The enemy does hit but his tough dragon armor
             blocks the blow.]

            [Rider #9 swings down at Jordi and hits but the
             blade is again blocked by the elven shield.]

            [Lodd swings on #22 and hits but the 2 point blow
             is blocked by the Zen'da's armor.]

            [Rider #5 stops his horee attack on the body of
             Rin.  He is startled to hear the earth move south
             of him.  Confused he doesn't move.]

            [Corr swings up again at #27 and hits for 3 points.
             This final strike kills the warrior.]
            GM: All SE sentries taken care of.

            [Zen'da #22 swings at Lodd and hits for 2 points
             of minor damage.]

            [Having been attacked in the back Zen'da #6 turns
             and swings his scimitar wildy.  The blade hits
             Cetric and slices a deep wound doing 9 points of
             damage.]

         Actions? Comments?

         Next update on Friday.
         Next TWO phases then.

         I need to sleep!  Enjoy!
