Game Update #1a in sequence (file #1)

Admin notes: This is a update of clean up material from the
previous adventure. Included here in a single update before
we get to the next phase.

[During the last month of the 3 months]
[Word comes down from the rumor mill that Unali turned over
those mysterious Blue Gauntlets to the King himself. From
palace servants it seems the gauntlets wer a prize piece
of national treasure owned by a foreign nation. The
exact nation is unclear due to the rumors but it could be
the ipaza or the Nylasa or another nation. That tidbit of
information is sketchy. On return of the item the king
gains some diplomatic points with that nation and Unali
gains some points for herself if she shows up in that
nation.]
GM: This is what is known publically from the palace
servants and gossip. More details can be gleamed by
Unali if she so desires.

I must have missed that question (went to the website and
couldn't find it either in 531,532,533...). Anyway, if
Farseeker asks him why he singled him out by looking at
him he will reply, "You are one who understands that not
all your friends are friends, nor enemies enemies, but
that those who sometimes appear as one are the other. You
thought me insane when we first met, and that opinion may
not have changed much. But that crazed fighter on the
battlefield has proven a valuable ally in a land as chaotic
as Clima. And perhaps our understanding that we are not
enemies is enough."
GM: It was right after your speech about the staff he said it.
[Farseeker looks Chion and grins a wry smile. He then
punches Chion right in the shoulder and laughs. The pain
of the friendly jab hurt chion but Chion knows its a friendly
jab.]
Farseeker: "Hah! Yes. You acted insane at first but did prove
yourself. We are friends...I hope! In fact Ben'dar, Jordi,
Sava and others had to go through the screening process to
see where they stood with the party. I am happy you are here!"

To Neva he gives a fine perfume made of forest flowers from
Marentia).
Neva: "Thank you sir!"
To Jordi -
To Jordi he gives an ornamental Sai with a leather wrapped
handle. (He will make it himself if at all possible to secure
the use of a forge for a few days locally - hopefully, since
it is not a "sharpened weapon" the king, etc... won't care)
GM: It can be sharp and even enchanted. As long as its not some
evil spell for evil purposes. :) Added to Jordi's sheet.

She will try to find something just a bit too romantic,
preferably a painting of two elves intertwined in embrace
beneath a setting sun or something like that. Nowadays it
would be suitable for a teenage girl bedroom and available
in poster format. She will spend a gold piece or so on it.
GM: Unali found a painting in a artist studio she heard about
from Marta Valnon. There she found the perfect piece a
small 3x3 oil painting of two elves obviously in love under
a full moon with gray and white clouds. In the background
is a lake and they are on the shore embracing each other
against a tree watching the lake. Its even strange but
the female elf even looks like Neva!

GM: I have birthdays for everyone but Chion, Unali and
Z'leyra. Please let me know when you get a chance.
Since Game Time may deal in a year's change eventually
would be nice to know when a person ages 1 year. You
can roll D12/D30 using a standard earth type calender
or I can generate it for you. Let me know.

From Ben'dar: [Re: Wedding Presnet]
Since Jordi's wedding was somewhere far away in a Wild Forest
among the Elves, Ben'Dar waits until he meets up with Jordi
again to present him with a gift.
Upon seeing Jordi in Sivas, Ben'Dar strides toward him
excitedly, a broad smile on his face. Shaking Jordi's hand
exuberantly and clapping him heartily on the back, he says
loudly, "Friend Jordi! It's good to see you again!
Congratulations on your wedding. I trust it was a wonderful
time for you and Neva?" After chatting for several minutes
about Jordi's wedding, Ben'Dar motions to the door of the
tavern with one hand, "Come outside with me, I have a wedding
gift for you."
He leads Jordi outside to a small stable nearby the tavern.
Inside, being groomed by a handler, is a very young horse, a
foal of exceptional quality. It is full of energy and its
coat is glossy with health. Upon seeing Ben'Dar, the handler
stops brushing the foal. The foal whinnies playfully and
trots over to nuzzle Ben'Dar's outstretched hand.
Looking at Jordi, Ben'Dar smiles. "Not a bad little fellow,
is he. I just purchased him from a farmer on the other side
of Marentia. He has perfect lines and impressive blood. I
think he will be one of the fastest horses in the land....once
he's been properly trained. His name is Velox, which is a
Zen'Dan word that means "swift", though you may come up with a
better name for him in Elven."
"In the Fel'oros clan, when a man is wed, it is my people's
custom for each family in the tribe to give him a horse.
Rather than simply purchase you a horse, I wanted to honor you
and Neva by hand-picking this young colt and training him
personally." "He will be yours once I've properly trained him
for you. It will take several years, but when he is ready,
Velox will be as fleet as a hare, as bold as a lion, and
absolutely obedient to your commands. It is my gift to you
and Neva." Ben'Dar concludes with a small bow and brings the
foal over to meet his new master.
GM: Just reminder. They had 2 weddings. The 3rd day back they
got married in Marentia for the party's benefit. Then a elf
wedding in Wild Forest a month later.
That's it for the admin part and cleanup material. We now
continue with the start of Adventure #2.
