Hmmm...would the pernmanet magic help to reinforce it from things like rot and
decay? Otherwise that could add spice to a piece of Elven armor :)<br>

to use wood over metal in their lesser armors, due to the limited strength
compared to dwarf and human. I would presume that given the enormous
lifespans, they could indeed breed trees with tougher wood then earthly
ironwood. Perhaps even giving the evolution process a "hand"
with sidh magics.</span></font></span></font></p>
