<P><FONT SIZE=2>WHen my players went cross country I further tweaked the movement to 5 miles per day (i.e. 4 days per hex) through mountains. Mounted travel is possible only in "outer" mountains (i.e. those that are not surrounded by mountain hexes) at 10 miles per day.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2>I also sometimes made travel in rough terrain slower, to 6.66 miles per day (3 days per hex on foot, 1.5 days per hex mounted). This applied to jungles mostly.</FONT></P>
