     In my current game this was bought up by a player.  CDF has changed.

     Let's take the current enemy Great Spiders

  Ok.  Let's process the data...

v1 - AHP 16  NWI -6  CDF 2   CL NA
v2 - AHP 28  NWI -6  CDF 12  CL NA

Creature Creation rules
v1
      6.95 Creature Difficulty Factor (CDF)
         CDF = AHP/10 (RU).  If Magical power or NWI greater than -3
         then increase CDF by 50% (RU).  If creature has CL of 1 or
         higher
         double the base CDF (if supernatural force of its alignment).

16/10-1.6-2  No magical Power.  NWI is lower than -3 0   CL -
Not supernatural so 0 so v1 is CDF 2

4.3 Creature Diculty Factor
The CDF of an opponent equals (HPV=10)+(MEL=2). Round up before adding
the resulting values.

The CDF of an opponent equals (HPV/10)+(MEL/2). (RU) before adding the
resulting values. Where the creature has a power expressed as a BL,
BL/2 is also a factor.

28/10-2.8-3   0/2-0   3+0-3

Wow.  Ok.  That's new.  BL I assume explains why Dragonss have a high
CDF as well.  So 20/2-10  10+3-13 CDF.


Wow.  That's a big leap.

As you can see we go from 2 to 13.  This explains why I guess some
others have CDF12s now like dragons.

So I checked Elder Dragon has highest at CDF 18.

    - AHP 88  NWI -8  CDF 18  CL NA  MEL 9 (ahp/10)

    So 9+9 works out correctly.  Wow.....anyone kill some
    elder dragons for quick level ups?

This is just a quick warning to show that CDF has changed for
you GMs.
