[PnP] Elf Shot

Since Scott wanted me to add to this conversation, here goes:
I haven't used or GMed this spell for many years but here is how I
used to GM the spell.
I did not require that the bow and each arrow be made by the caster, but
I did require that no other caster had cast a spell on them and that
they not be magically ruined (as a failed enhancement or enchantment
might do). Failure of the Dedication spell roll would ruin them for this
purpose. The Dedication requires knowledge of the Elf-Shot spell (not
the Permanent Magics spell). No limit on the number of arrows (and bows)
that might be Dedicated. Dedication is best done long before combat. Any
use of either (dedicated bow & arrow) without the other would remove the
Dedication from the item (i.e. both must be Dedicated or it won't work
and Dedication is removed).

As arrows they are still subject to breakage per normal breakage
rules. If a Dedicated arrow is fired from a non-dedicated bow simply
treat the arrow as an Elven Arrow for that one shot.
