Never had a Soul Diva in a game actually. Almost did.

I first encountered PNP back in the '80s at Skirmishes in a dealer's room.
The box caught my eye with that female (looked like a shield maiden or
warrior if I recall). So I bought it since it was just one box for an
entire game. I've always prefered games that are small and tight
(Fringeworthy 1 book, GW a few books, Strombringer/Elric a few books, etc).
Not D&D with its upteen zillion books.

I can't recall if I got PL that day but I think I did. Once I saw the maps
I fell in love. I only played the County module once. I tend to only run
published adventures once and that's it since I'm more an original person.

My first player was one of my regulars, Clay a very Power Gamer if there
ever was. He created Varange a Faerry and that was it. No other character
for him. He tweaked the rules just enough and found the loopholes to be a
Natural Magician and have every spell in the book. A very powerful guy
overall. But his sanity was in question at times with playing nice with
other players.

My biggest game was at a convention with a group of 22 players. It was a
tournament game lasting all weekend, 3 days. Me and Clay ran the game with
one group playing 10 bad guys and the rest playing good guys on the same
quest but on differnt point of views. In different rooms until the final
day of climatic battle. Everyone enjoyed the game except one who fought
over the rules a bit when he misdirected his character to walk across a
field laden with traps (his fault) and well you'd expect he didn't make it.

I rarely actually kill characters unless its pure stupdity.

Scene: Big treasure room with a fire pit on both sides and in the middle is
this quicksand like area that has a odd slime on it. What do you do? "oh
walk across.." "you sure" "yep.." "really sure?" "yep.." "ok...12 seconds
into walking please hand my your character sheet ...[ripppppp] your dead".

I tend to be one for ingenious and evil plots. I'm famous for my riddles
actually which in some cases can be 12 lines and players have to figure
them out usually involved with some plot point (guardian, etc.). I'm more
into character background and history than real hack and slash. I tend to
avoid pure combat.

Though of course some might wonder with my current PBEM :). But there is
motive to my madness. It'll just take awhile to put things together.

I've since done maybe 12 magic campaigns and dozens and dozens of
adventures in the PL universe mainly in the south from Fomoria to Lemas.
I've rarely gone above Donara for some reason.
