No, the ELx2 is a magic factor. In combat, it is x1. I've opted x2 for full
offense fighting before, but in that game, the options were: Full Offense
(subtract ELx2), standard (subtract EL, add EL to enemy roll), and full
defensive (add double EL to enemy). The standard factor in combat, however,
is only x1.
