I'm sure LA has tons of shops you can play in its a huge town.  
As to new games not sure about that area but theres 2 pnp games going on over
the
web mine and another game.  Mine is ongoing and the other i think just died
up.
But I'd surmise theres 10-20 shops in that city :)
